I was a Whalers fan and the disgusting vile chowdahead scum would routinely infest the HCC and I can tell you the fan ratio was never as lopsided as that game yesterday afternoon.

It amazes me how this organization either doesn't learn from it's mistakes or learns the wrong lessons from them. For example If they actually learned Dahlin wouldn't play another second this season so he can 1)be fully heeled for next season and 2)not risk making his injury worse.

Sometimes really bad players are just really bad players and no amount of coaching will change that.

Kevyn Adams is a bs artist whose main objective is maintaining job security. If this was a real organization with standards he would actually have to do his job and meet them.

How is this any different than the team under Kreuger or Housley? They are now getting slaughtered on a nightly basis.

Adams is going to do nothing this offseason because he is deluded enough to believe in magic growth theory. This team has holes and a one dimensional prospect pool. A smart GM would use the surplus of skilled forward prospects to fill these holes but that's not happening. A smart coach would knock the pond hockey crap off after seeing how everyone around the league has gotten wise to it and try to instill some sort of defensive system and responsibility into his players but that's not happening.

It's almost as if being the worst organization in hockey history leads to destroying your fanbase because you lost an entire generation of fans who don't want to root for a loser.

He couldn't give a flying *****, the gridball team is all that matters.

At least we aren't Purdue.

If our coaching staff had any clue on implementing a defensive scheme that wouldn't get a high school coach laughed out of the room the talent is clearly there. If you switched coaches and put Torts behind the bench next year we would make the playoffs.

This team is never making the playoffs under this current coaching staff. They have no clue what to do when their one trick pony system gets blown up.

Particularly after we got the late PP and you had to know the officials would have it in their mind to make an even up call.

It drives me crazy. I wonder if it's like the nutty soccer strategy where guys hold onto the ball in their own end to draw the opposing player to close in that seems to backfire horribly in just about every game? It almost has to be a coaching strategy because your first, second and third priorities when you have the puck in your own end is to get it out of your own end.

Look at our remaining schedule (particularly playing 6 of the last 8 on the road), we couldn't afford to piss away a point tonight. And we aren't just competing with the Isles for that last spot.
