  1. The idea he had us over a barrel and we had no leverage annoys me greatly. We did have leverage: if Hall was still here after the deadline we lose a pick but he loses MILLIONS of dollars in UFA because his value is at an all time low and he needed to go somewhere to rebuild it. It's real clear that our GM was more interested in catering to a guy who ended up being exposed as a complete snake rather than playing hardball and getting the best outcome for the team.
  2. It felt like GM Unqualified PSE Crony was more concerned with doing what was best for Taylor Hall than the Buffalo Sabres.
  3. If this jackass is allowed to do an Eichel trade just burn KBC to the ground and piss on it's ashes.
  4. GM PSE Crony just called a guy who he publicly stated pretty much emasculated him in the worst way possible "professional".
  5. Why doesn't anyone seem to notice the thing that makes this trade so awful is essentially tossing a million or so in cap space the next few seasons straight into Lake Erie for a guy in Bjork who is in no way a million bucks better than Lazar?
  6. And that actually understates how good he has been because save percentage doesn't factor in difficulty/quality of shots faced.
  7. TAGE WON THIS ONE FOR OUR BELOVED APRIL!!!!!!! I AM IN TEARS!!!!!
  8. GIRAFFE SCOOOOOOOOORES!!!! If we had won this game I'd be running down Main Street here in Brewster clad only in my Tage gameworn wildly screaming in celebration.
  9. Did you know there are only 3 NFL stadiums that don't have corporate naming deals? Lambeau Field (Green Bay) Soldier Field (Chicago) Paul Brown Stadium (Cincinnati)
  10. Great job by Granato to switch everything up in the 3rd. It was working way too well and we were in danger of winning a game.
  11. OK how does this sound: They are by far the worst team of the post lockout era in which the entire freaking league was de facto rigged through the cap, Gary Bettman Loser Points and other mechanisms so that just about every team would be competitive.
  12. In a normal draft yes, but in dis draft the strategy should be simply to have as many picks anywhere in the draft as possible because there is a high probability dat it ends up as the biggest crapshoot ever.
  13. I mean, at least two of the teams you mentioned were specifically designed to try and lose as many games as possible and dis team is on pace to be significantly worse.
  14. I may go up to one of the last games mainly so I can lay a wreath in front of the building like you see done at the site of a horrific tragedy.
  15. And given that Adams has tossed up more bricks in his tenure than John Starks in game 7 vs the Rockets I trust his judgement about as much as I do the clueless moron who hired him.
  16. I can understand concerns but you know I was a Whalers fan and we drafted Chris Pronger. In his first two seasons he played on Whalers teams that were spectacularly awful, and on those teams Pronger stood out as especially awful (as in every bit as bad as Dahlin looks now and possibly even slightly worse). He was traded to the Blues for Brendan Shanadouche and the rest is history.
  17. What is true about Dahlin is also true of every single player in this organization in terms of having their games fall straight off a cliff. Fix the source of the problems (having comically incompetent coaching because the team is too stupid to hire qualified professionals) and things will do a 180. The stories about how the team would constantly screw things up in practice and Kreuger would never stop things to point out what was done wrong and make them repeat the drill until they got it right are just mindblowing, how could any player possibly develop under such ludicrous circumstances?
  18. I think it's a case that's best exemplified by what Ole Anderson once told Jim Cornette: " Jim, I used to think you were a dumb***** but so many other dumb*****s have come along since that you've moved up the ladder without even trying!"
