How many times is it going to take to teach NHL GM's that drafting guys based on a junior tournament performance is almost always a real bad idea?

I would hope he signs right after his season ends given that this is his junior year so if he doesn't we just got Fox'ed. -
Well I mean he IS the reason they ended up with Zegras.

The Dahlin - Joker Pairing Needs to Die a Fiery Death
sabremike replied to LGR4GM's topic in The Aud Club
It still amazes me that our allegedly savvy and sophisticated fanbase shits all over Dahlin when anyone smarter than a brain damaged cocker spaniel can see the biggest issue is playing on a team that was deliberately constructed to be totally uncompetitive and lose as many games as possible. -

Imagine the fact that Jason Botterill actually got hired by an NHL team for a front office position after what he did here.

What complete and utter *****. -
How do you keep people to keep watching games that last forever stuffed with a million stoppages and ad breaks? Get them to put money on the games. Who cares if robberies and numerous other crimes are going to go up 50,000% percent from people who lost their savings, homes and families chasing gambling losses (hi Craig Carton!), not Terry's problem.

If that was true Highmark Stadium would have been a quarter to half empty every game instead of all but sold out every game. If the Sabres weren't the single worst joke of a franchise in all of pro sports and were competitive there would be way more than a couple of thousand fans in attendance every night. -

Terry Pegula is to hockey what Dan Snyder is to football: Completely killed markets dead where such a feat was thought to be impossible. -

If that's the case good for the people in Portland, Kansas City, Quebec or wherever this franchise has been relocated to by then. They are drawing smaller crowds than just about any AHL team not named the Bridgeport Islanders, what do you think it's going to look like after a few more years of this putrid dogshit?
