or one 8-yr term for President, two 6-yr terms for Senator and three 4-year terms for Reps. Also 20 year terms for Supreme Court Justices. Remove life time appointments to ANYTHING except Pope...

On balance, I think his Presidency will be judged positively. I clearly see a difference between term 1 and term 2. Term 1 was more energetic, more optimistic. Term 2 was more pragmatic. He is going where other Presidents did not, Cuba, Vietnam, Hiroshima, etc. Should be interesting to read what my great grand kids are taught about his terms. Yes I intend to live that long.. The Yes We Can of Term 1 gave way to the reality of Maybe We Can of Term 2. I do think 8 years is too much and by year 6, the country is wearing out on a President. He begins losing senior staff and the end game of a Presidents second term is like watching a patient in hospice.

All he said was the truth. Not sure why people are reacting to it. It doesn't take a rocket scientist to understand that people should not put their faces in front of others throwing punches with malice, or, people should not be playing tackle football with armor on. The fact that they do is why we watch.

geez, if I had to guess who would bite that hook, I would have bet on you...

Trump is having the new car price effect on the electorate. When you first look at a new car's price, you see 34,000 and say, wow that's a lot of money. Then after a day or two, you start rationalizing the price into payments and conclude that if I finance it over 5 years, it's no so bad on a monthly basis. And then your sticker shock is over. I think America has gotten past the sticker shock and now its mano on mano.. Him or her.. Yuk or Yikes.. Yikes or Yuk.. I still think she will win because she has the inner city vote, women's vote and Hispanic vote. He has the angry outer city, angry country, angry evangelicals, angry independents and angry white male vote. I just don't think that is enough to offset the traditional party size advantage the Dems have. Would I gamble on that, no way. As John Oliver says "Donald Trump, America's walking talking brush fire". He is rewriting campaigning tactics. His use of "Crooked Hillary" is sticking around and biasing thoughts. And whether people want to acknowledge it on a conscious level or not, he is damaging her reputation while all the insults, flip flops, outrageous statements, etc, don't seem to stick to him. Things that used to matter, don't this cycle.

A blonde said, “I was worried that my mechanic might try to rip me off. I was relieved when he told me all I needed was turn signal fluid.”

I still think this is Hillary's to lose. She has the women and black vote sewn up and there are more demigops than republicrats. I'm intrigued though by the coalition of redneck voters that Trump has mustered. I was back in B'lo recently at a family outing. My sister asked my relatives sitting around the bonfire who was voting for Trump and I was astounded by the number of my siblings and family voting for him. Blown away in fact. I am one of nine kids and we have a huge family to include 2nd and 3rd generation. There was a major distaste for Hillary present. We come from four different states now and it was 90% Trump. Me and my oldest sister being the holdouts. She Hillary, me neither.

My take on the Nov election is if Trump can get Joe Six-pack to come out and vote in numbers to offset the inner city Clinton vote, he has a legit chance. The question is will these people come out?

I've taken three cruises now and enjoyed every one of them. Been and seen the same places you describe. Currently in Bahamas (not cruising) and it is GLORIOUS. I do have some of the same concerns. We are getting ridiculously large portions of food served to us by people who must seriously question the fairness of life when half of it goes back not eaten. When can we get back to sanity with respect to portion size? As far as scotch is concerned. Not these virgin lips shall it pass.

After dumping a crap-ton of dollars on the brakes last week, the car is going back in tomorrow to fix....wait for it.... wait for it.... the brakes... For exactly the same symptoms we took it in initially for.

I have driven in 47 of the 50 states now. There is definitely a difference. Traffic congestion in general brings out the worst habits in people, myself included. I do the DC run a lot. It can be flat out brutal, but so can a lot of other big cities during the commute hours.

I'm beginning to believe that Trump can win. His campaign is rewriting campaign tactics like Obama's first one did. His use of social media to co-opt the news cycle is pretty impressive. Watch CNN at anytime during the day and the coverage is all about him. The more outrageous the things he says, the more the press covers him and effectively drowns out the coverage of all other candidates. I also think his use of "crooked Hillary" versus her "loose cannon" is beginning to gain a footing. He says it so much, and the press repeats it so often that it is seeping into our consciousness whether we recognize it or not. If he pulls the redneck vote out in VA, FL, MI, PA and OH to offset the Democrats city votes, he has a genuine chance of being President. How crazy is that?

No.. Simple extortion of tourists. There are countless beaches on the Jersey shore that don't charge for access and are equally nice.

Wife calls this AM and says her brake pedal is almost to floor. Take to dealer. 3 problems. Master cylinder is leaking brake fluid through two seals. Front, back rotors beyond turning, front and back pads need to be replaced. Lines bled. I gasped when told the price. The lines aren't the only thing that will be bled today.

"In March, Brady signed a two-year contract extension that chopped his 2016 salary from $9 million to $1 million, effectively bracing the quarterback for a massive financial loss in the event that a four-game suspension would be served. That extension also netted him more than $40 million in new money." I find this fascinating. Obviously he, his agent and the Patriots saw this coming from miles away

The more you know about the impacts that full-contact, tackle football has on a person's body, the more amazed I am that ANY parent would allow their child to play it.

I think this is the year the Sabres NEED to show true progression under GMTM. This is now his team; his moves should be bearing fruit. I'm hopeful that a true progression in system, defense, scoring and record are evident.

They dropped a lot of bodies in last night's show between the last season recap and then the show itself. The one moment of incongruity for me was the Jamie/Cersei thing. She just went through the shaming, had her hair cut and all they talked about was the death of her daughter. The shaming happened while Jamie was gone and one would think they would have discussed it ....
