  1. Doh!!! I have blocked him out... But not a Nor'Easterner.. Until they went a-carpetbagging
  2. What theory? It was a statement. and ... Trump ran on the GOP.. Dukakis, Kerry, Clinton,... All losers You have to go back to 1960 to find a Democrat from MA that won. And the Democrats that have 'recently' won are Kennedy (1960), Johnson from TX (1964), Carter (1976) from GA and Obama (2008) from IL
  3. Yeah, that's what the party of the NE and coasts needs, another Massachusetts candidate. That's awesome.. Looks good with that gold striping Are you trying to put the "affordable" into the Affordable Care act?
  4. Question.. Where should they apply their one goal to, first period, second period, third period or in OT? I think they should save it for the third period.
  5. Fascinating article in the Washington Post today on Businessman Trumps holdings and how that impacts decision making across the globe. He has licensed his name to many luxury holding around the world which now make for juicy protest locations or terrorist acts. Imagine if you will someone attacking Trump Towers in Mumbai. Makes for some real interesting politics too. We are really in unchartered waters here. Even if he put his holdings into a blind trust, his name is everywhere. People used to go to the US Embassy in a foreign country to protest, now we will see them storming Trump named properties... https://www.washingtonpost.com/business/economy/a-scramble-to-assess-the-dangers-of-president-elects-global-business-empire/2016/11/20/1bbdc2a2-ad18-11e6-a31b-4b6397e625d0_story.html?hpid=hp_rhp-top-table-main_trump-global-806pm%3Ahomepage%2Fstory
  6. Is there anybody left on Offense after this game?
  7. bahahahaha First time I went against the Sabres in a long time... WJAG on life support @ 145
  8. The game was fairly entertaining. The crowd was sparse. The cheap seats were filled. Very few, if any boxes were used (and that was a Saturday night). The crowd was pretty quiet until the fourth quarter. Then it came alive, even in the loss.
  9. Man I can't catch a break lately: Orioles lost the game Bills lost the game Sabres lost the game and tonight Wizards lost the game 0-4 Now I am not a big Orioles or Wizards fan, but I was tacitly rooting for them..
  10. In DC tonight with my eldest to watch the Wizards vs Heat. I pulled off a first ever for me, completely unintentionally: I saw a MLB, NFL, NHL and NBA game this calendar year MLB: Baltimore vs San Diego in San Diego (first MLB game in years) NFL: Baltimore vs Buffalo in Baltimore (first NFL game since 1993) NHL: Buffalo vs New Jersey in Newark NBA: Wizards vs Heat in Washington, DC (first ever NBA game too)
  11. Don't disagree. All I was commenting on was HE HAD to settle it. He probably didn't want to, but he had to.
  12. If it is settled, there is no fraud. "plan" or simple. All we know is it was settled.. We can suspect what want, but settling is done without an admission of guilt and, while I don't know this for a fact, I would imagine the parties agreed to a gag order as well. Weiner was sexting with children. If you are okay with that, fine.
  13. No surprise he settled it. He had to. He could not govern with that distraction. Since he settled, there will probably be no admittance of guilt. So he can claim free and clear it was the cost of doing business.
  14. 330 on Pit... I would go all in, but I am 20 short of 3 units.
  15. Seriously? You are in for a positively miserable four years.
  16. Drip, drip, drip No surprise. He needed to settle that before he got into office. That would have been too much of a distraction. I'm sure one of his charities can eat that settlement for him.
  17. In case you missed this SNL gem.. http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-live/video/election-night/3424956
  18. I would guess the court would find it unconstitutional.
  19. I didn't mean tame in that sense, I meant tame the opposition to..
  20. No I am not, but it is one way to tame a lion.
  21. This was as of 16 Aug: So dated. But you get a sense "Campaign ads have crowded the airwaves during the 2016 election cycle, but only one candidate has spent more than $1 million on them. According to NBC News, as of August 2016, Hillary Clinton’s campaign has spent $61 million on general election campaign ads. In addition, pro-Clinton groups have spent $43 million, bringing the total amount spent on Clinton ads to $104 million. Meanwhile, Clinton’s rival has relied less on traditional campaign advertising and more on free media coverage and on social media. To this day, Donald Trump’s campaign has still not spent a single dollar on ad time. However, some pro-Trump groups have run TV spots, thus far spending $12.4 million. Overall, the total amount of money spent on Trump ads is $91.6 million less than the total amount spent on Clinton ads." This is interesting: http://www.cnn.com/2016/11/18/politics/girls-on-the-bus-embed-life-campaign-trail-ashley-killough/index.html I watched CNN everyday during the campaign. Everyday. I never saw these views of the campaign.
  22. More than anything, I am fascinated that Trump did win and how he did it. He was so unconventional. He didn't prep for debates, he changed his staff out three times, etc, etc, etc. From CNN today.. This gives you a sense of how hard he worked to be President. This from an embedded press person. "In the last week of the campaign, we did 30 flights -- landing in 11 states for 14 rallies in the final three days alone. It was an aggressive schedule that likely played a big part in his surprise victory on November 8." Remember this man is 70 years old too.. Pretty impressive.
  23. As crazy as this sounds, I'm willing to bet you will see more Democrats fall in line with Trump than Republicans. He is proposing pork spending on levels that haven't been done in this country in a long time. You already have seen reports from Sanders and Warren saying they can get behind Trump on certain issues. It is the conservatives in the GOP who are going to lose their mind. And then the rules of the Senate are going to keep this from being a runway train.
  24. Tough mountain to climb with that 0-1 lead
