  1. Thanks for listing the EDT ?? Sabres will rebound... 4-2 Sabres Skinner, Girgensons, or Miller with a goal.
  2. anyone familiar with Eraserhead? my god Eichel and his leapin fro looks like the main character.
  3. I think the entire west coast trip as a whole will say a lot. Just like one game like tonight doesn’t say much. I’m not worried about running into a hard team tonight.
  4. Haha ... yea Risto doesn’t get you Gibson. We’d have to add ... considerably. Until it hurt. Ducks goaltending depth isn’t deep at all.
  5. Yea, he’s being out coached tonight. Anaheim, talent wise, isn’t any deeper than the Sabres. Perhaps even less deep. Ducks are clicking well.
  6. Why? A healthy Pilut doesn’t automatically mean he throws on a Sabres sweater. I think he’ll play on the Amerks for a bit. Perhaps months.
  7. Yea, he’s really a peaks and valleys type of player ...
  8. Anaheim are doing a terrific job neutralizing anything the Sabres try. It’s not just the Sabres playing poorly.
  9. RK has to game plan for the 3rd. Counter punch and get this game tied. weak goal ...
  10. No no no ... no need to go there
  11. Better than a Gaustad impersonation ... by a mile.
  12. Exactly. RK needs to counter punch. Last season Housley almost never adjusted in game. It was painful to witness the ineptitude.
  13. I look that way every time I post on this forum ?
  14. And Risto was weeeeeak just before that
  15. Blown coverage on that one ... yikes
  16. I thought it come from the young kid who was making a tower of pucks as Eichel scored in his rookie year. He himself called it the Eichel tower
  17. There are players who are easy to replace, and players who are hard to replace. If Larsson or Girgs think they are worth more than one or two year deals, you move on from them. If they think they deserve much more than qualifying offers, you move on from them. Those two are at the very very very bottom of my “I’m concerned about their next contract” list.
  18. Yeah, I’d like to keep him in our system and have him develop… I don’t wanna see him get traded away. Some fans just want the finished product and don’t have the patience to see players develop.
  19. Yea, I was thrown by that too. If you must post the PT zone because they are playing out west, then at least also post the ET zone since 95% of fans are, you know ... in the WNY area. 10PM ET ... aren’t a whole lot of extra characters.
  20. Unfortunately I think we lose tonight... 3-2 Erod, Skinner or Miller with a goal.
  21. The Sabres are 5-0-1 through six games. It's the first time Buffalo has started a season with points in six straight games since the team went 6-0-2 through its first eight games of the 2008-09 season. Buffalo is looking to start the season with points in each of the team's first three road games for the first time since they began the 2011-12 season with wins in each of their first four road games. Through six games, the Sabres have already gotten points from 17 different players and had 10 different players score at least one goal. Jack Eichel (3+6), Rasmus Dahlin (1+7), Victor Olofsson(5+2) and Sam Reinhart (3+3) have all tallied at least a point per game so far this season. This is the first of two meetings between the Sabres and Ducks this season. Last meeting: Buffalo defeated Anaheim 3-0 in Buffalo on Dec. 22, 2018. Next meeting: Sunday, Feb. 9 in Buffalo The Sabres are 5-4-1 in their last 10 games vs. the Ducks; 4-6-0 on the road. The Ducks have averaged just 2.37 goals per game in their 38 all-time meetings against the Sabres, marking Buffalo's lowest per-game average against any opponent. The Sabres have earned points in each of their last five games against the Ducks dating back to March 17, 2017 (4-0-1), including wins in both meetings last season. They have won their last three games in Anaheim, with the last loss coming on Feb. 24, 2016.
