Hey, Pimlach… Remember putting the ad inserts in the paper at your neighborhood distributor’s garage… before putting 30+ papers in each shoulder bag… crisscrossing your chest… and the bags balanced… banging on your hips… as you walked to your route… and started down the street and up each driveway… Putting the paper behind the storm door?… Then collecting every Weds night… “Can you come back on Friday?”… Taught me my first lessons in work discipline, work ethic, and people skills… Invaluable… Thanks for the memory!

Agree with Weave… Not expecting to hear much in the way of specifics about roster plans… Do expect to hear pride in the culture they have created in the organization… in the development and success of several of their draft choices and trade acquisitions… and in bringing fans back with an uptempo and entertaining product… Want to hear a commitment to winning in their presser, carrying through to training camp, and Day One of the new season… Less talk of player development by DG during the season except in praise of a player… and no more development explanations for losing.

Can’t buy respect like this… Hope Okposo will be part of the Buffalo Sabre organization in some capacity as long as he wants.

You’re right… Desperation “Must Win” games brought more puck hunt out in us the past few weeks… on and off the wall. Seemed to me Tuch and Krebs in particular played aggressive puck hound since arriving compared to other forwards.

You contribute plenty, Weave… Think Pimlach has a good read on Krebs… The kid is a puck hound… (Something he shares in common with Tuch, so they must have learned it in LV because we sure don’t appear to coach it here)… His enthusiasm is on display both on the ice and on the bench… Can’t teach that… Young kid with plenty of upside… KA kind of guy…

Thanks for responding. After I sign in to NHL SC Challege and Join the Sabre Space 2003 League, when I click Create Bracket, it is supposed to show Team Logos… Instead of Logos, it asks me for a Bracket Name. Probably something in my iPhone Settings.
