KA added Greenway… Clifton… for a reason… Like to see a few more of our players get physical … to balance our speed, skill, and character. This is a KA roster… and a DG coaching issue, imo Decent goaltending and a few tweaks, we can dominate a tough Division and Conference for the next several years.

Thanks for the correction… If I’m Adams and Granato, I’m hanging in there with UPL… but it won’t surprise me if he is part of a package trade this season to shore up our D.

UPL just turned 23… Takes time to develop NHL goalie skills… He has the size… He is developing his hockey sense, movement, glove, blocker, breakaway… His aggressiveness and compete need more work… With success will come confidence… Look at the swagger Levi developed in his remarkable amateur and college years… Doubt the Sabres give up on UPL at this point in their investment of time in him.

Seems when it comes to player development, Granato believes in progress… not perfection.

Give me at least 10 games to see the trend before I even think about planting my flag on this season… Goaltending will be my focus.
