Itβs disrespectful to give that only to Benson but the refs consistently get him, and him alone. There he goes, off for tripping. Benson that was careless. -

Benson is a character. Just when we get Greenway back we lose a Tuch. I like having the adults in the lineup. -

Yes this is a big story for the season. They lay back too soon, and too much. O-zone time goes away. Would love to see them win the 3rd when starting with a 3 goal lead. Impose their will. Instead they retreat and just hold on. -

Zucker screen. Dahlin goal. the dreaded goalie change. Rayzor shakes off another puck to the head. -

Tage nice work. Buffalo looks more interested in hockey than the Rags. -

What will be the Sabres approach at the trade deadline?
Pimlach replied to GASabresIUFAN's topic in The Aud Club
As mentioned, if you can see it, and I can see it, and we have data that explains it, then why, oh why, oh why, is Lindy playing him so may minutes in the top 6 and on PP2? They are not helping him. A veteran NHL coach that came in to teach accountability and an NHL system and this is what he get? I predict Cozens gets traded, we get minimal back for him, and that in time he gets becomes a good player. -

Sure, fire away if it helps you. Bingo. I have given up on Adams and I think he is pushing Cozens as a favorite. Still don't get how the kid got an "A" other than salary and expectations. At some point you would think Lindy would know how to use him better. -

5:30? That could cut into date night with my wife. -
I don't like the trolling. Especially of a good neighbor and a friend. The USA could not get a better neighbor than what we already have. The hockey was going to be great entertainment without the Trump trolling. The teams were going to be fired up no matter what. Trump could have gotten help at the boarder, if this is really all he wanted, with a simple private call and a meeting to negotiate an agreement that benefits both countries. He could play hardball in the conference room if need be, not on the world stage and not by saying ridiculous things. Grandstanding in the media to fire up a base that is already loyal to him is a bad tactic that leads to poor policy. I better stop here.

Itβs no secret that I think we need 1C or 2C help at center. A skilled playmaker or a top 6 two-way center would make a difference. We already established that trading a center for a skilled puck moving defenseman (when we had 2) did not improve this teamβs roster. One year later we have seen what I said at the time - that the trade made a big weakness even worse. But at least we can now see we have the better player between the two, so maybe they can improve the team by using Bryam or Power to bolster the center spline? The insulting and complaining about Cozens is getting old. Sure, he is not playing well and he will probably be traded. He will probably end up a good hockey player someday for some other team too. The concept of Cozens is dying in Buffalo, but maybe not around the NHL. History tells us we will regret the trades made by the unqualified GMs that Terry hires. Its been the norm for 14 years and counting. -
Iβm not messing with anything. Just posted something that was talked about here, specifically how the anthem words were changed around 1980, and again more recently. Lighten up Francis. .

https://athlonsports.com/nhl/botched-national-anthem-before-canada-usa-sparks-strong-reaction more Canadian anthem stuff. The singer is Canadian and she changed a lyric to mean something that seems very odd to me. From a musical perspective, I donβt think she did a good job at all.

Trading to get Mitts back is a bad idea. You trade for players to improve the team. Not to get back to the level that was already not good enough. -
Binington has several big game victories to his credit. A Cup, which was a journey from last place, and this tournament game. He seems to come up big when itβs show time. Eichel looks great. A complete center. His skating, playmaking, shooting and defense - all elite We had one of the top players in the game and pretty much gave him away. He needed to leave to grow up, got in with the right group in Vegas, and now he is exceptional.

Canβt you just watch hockey and enjoy the skill and action?

Slavin reminds me of former Buffalo Sabre Bill Hajt. Same size, same defense first style. The kind of player that makes very few mistakes and does much more right than wrong.
