At least it wasn't all caps ?
-
We got a point, they got a point, all bad
-
Well isn't this just the worst possible draft position outcome, points for both teams
-
That goal shouldn't be. I saw 2 penalties that weren't called, blatant interference on Reinhart on one of those, anyone else see it? Thank you, I wasn't the only one. And it was blatant.

Sheary was built for Western Conference Hockey.
-
Well, stick #2368990 for Risto, leading to another opposition goal ?
-
If I'm not mistaken those are 2 primary assists as well. What were the trade conditions on Sheary again?
-
I really hope they win this one. Keep St. Louis pick below that 20th spot.

Could this be the year we DON'T want the 1st over all? I find humor in this.

Oh SDS I jest, I realize there is nothing he can say that's going to take away the disappointing feelings from both the fans and players alike. I don't normally point fingers at the coach or GM, but in this seasons case, given it's now year 2 of this GM/Coach regime and things have actually remained status quo, I definitely have serious reservations about either's ability in their respective positions. While I realize the mess Murray left, the returns on jettisoning some talent from here(i.e. Kane and ROR) is highly questionable, and the players brought in as roster filler are equally highly questionable. As for the coaching, this Carolina game is an excellent example, actually, text book example of the differences in coaching strategy/coaching ability. The Cane's if you notice played a high pressure the puck carrier, tight body checking game against the Sabres, which has been well established NHL wide as how to defeat this Sabres team. Smother them and they make mistakes, terrible mistakes. Now, the coach should be able to devise a strategy whereby that counter move by other coaches can be countered and give some fluidity to the Sabres game. After all, these players on the Sabres all can't be AHL fodder. And yet, we see the same coaching strategies from Housley game after game. So when you ask what I expect him to say, what would make me happy? In all seriousness, honesty, either about his lack of abilities to compensate for league wide set strategies against his players or call out the players themselves in harsh, abrasive truth's about their unwillingness or are unable to implement counter strategies to find stability. Trots would have no problem doing this. And he's a fairly successful coach.

Buffalo with the 2nd over all on the first try lol
-
You sly dog you ?
-
Can't wait for Housley to say in the post game they were in it to the end, he was impressed with the teams improvement, it's hard to score goals in this league, they need to learn to play defense...………...etc......etc...……..
-
Luck has nothing to do with it. It's the players willingness to win combined with the coaches strategy and the GM's personnel decisions. This is the product we have from that.
-
Terrible, just terrible. Another year wasted.

Well, as painful as this is, just remember what Darcy said...…………... "S U F F E R I N G"
-
Well, at least The Legend of Skinner is no longer Limp.

Sadly, our luck didn't hold out this afternoon, Blues up 5 to 1 on the Penguins. The Islanders didn't earn their Red Wings today either. Hopefully the rest of today's matches tilt in our favor draft wise.

A tip of the hat to you good sir...…………...

There should be an arch in front of the Arena with this statement etched across the arch ? Come to think of it, there should be an arch with this statement on it at every conceivable roadway, sidewalk, stone road and dirt path entering the greater Western New York region lol Well done triple dot, well done.

Philly hanging tough with Toronto, 5-4 Philly towards end of 2nd. Vegas and Dallas toe to toe 1-1 end of 1st. So far, other teams are helping with our own picks draft position. Blue Jackets up 2-0 over Carolina, although I like either one to win, Jackets win opens up a gap with the Blues, sending their pick further down. All is going according to plan so far...………..

Last night was another good night for both the Buffalo and St. Louis draft positions.

Your next coach of the Buffalo Sabres ladies and gentlemen, Jason Pominville…………… Hamilton: So, coach Population, what's your first order of business as the new coach? Coach Pominville: Alumni party in Boca with Terry and Kim, then off on vacation, the wife and I are trying to grow the population of Pominville, but, admittedly, it's tough to score in this league...………….. (The fans give a collective sigh)
