  1. Well, at least they actually did attempt to shoot 12 times lol. But wait, there's more, get 2 shots on goal in the first period, get a 3rd and 4th shot on goal for free in the 2nd. That's right, for a limited time only, you can get to 6 shots by the 3rd period.........
  2. COME ON BOYS!!!!!!! LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!!!!!!
  3. Hey, allow me my illusions of expectations. And what might that expectation be? A win 🙂
  4. And there is the Hutton of Old. Oh well, it was a nice 10 minutes or so.
  5. HUTTON!!!!!! Man, he is IN THE ZONE TONIGHT!
  6. I love the compete level from our boys. But they have to get those shots on net. HUTTON on OVI!!!!!! Nice save!!!!!
  7. Man, Okposo, the 6 million dollar anchor.
  8. I like Okposo as a person, but he is terrible as a hockey player.
  9. Yes. He has that wing span and height. He can be a gamer if he picks up the snarl in his game.
  10. Well, they are playing a good game so far.... LET'S GO BUFFALO!!!!!!!!
  11. He's going to get paid, he's earned it. We could use a younger set of legs on the PR.
  12. Bruce Almighty stopping by to enjoy some game time? 🙂 Rasmi triplets powers activate: Form of, a puck in the net.
  13. I think people are confused. Here's the Blake Krueger is trading for: I hear he's a grizzled veteran with some athletic upside.
  14. There is just to much documented evidence, be video, audio, testimonials, that supports something happens after death in this life, whether that be construed as your soul, spirit, or something else, it's abundantly clear something does happen that has longevity beyond the organic brain function of the human body. Flatulence stinks, no matter how accustomed one is to their own bodily smells. It comes out of the area humans discharge their sewage, the more bottled up sewage the individual has, the more the flatulence release has to pass through on the way to being expelled, no matter how you cut it, cheese stinks out of that container. You don't enjoy them. You are emotionally invested in the team, bad performance equals bad mood for us. Buffalo metro population as of 2021 numbers listed is 1,124,400. I took the numbers from the Southwest Region Ontario Peninsula, and only from the 3 closest regions since they would have the most Sabres fans, roughly 724,000. So that would put the potential for an NHL Franchise fanbase at roughly 1.5 to 1.75 million, depending. The franchise is located along the Canadian border, the franchise is located in a 50 year established market, in short, and, while considered a small market franchise, the local viewership fan base of the broader NHL league is continuously one of the highest in the league, in short, the Sabres franchise isn't going anywhere.
  15. Adam's actually said this? There's a "Don't smoke crack kids" advertisement somewhere in that comment.
  16. Market size matters. You want the Sabres to be worth top 5, hell, top 10 in NHL, building a winning culture won't do it alone. You need physical fans in the area, that means building out the greater WNY region with population, which equates to well paying jobs.
  17. For every fan it should be GMTM and it's not even close, as they say. He had assets in that 15 draft class that he could have moved up or down the 1st and 2nd rounds at will. Instead, he initiated a fast rebuild policy that is directly responsible for where the team is today. Say what any of you will about Darcy, but his "suffering" comment was dead on accurate. Him and Ruff knew some things I reckon. But at the end of the day, come hell or high water, it was General Manager Tim Murray who was given responsibility over the assets available to pull this franchise forward, and he failed, miserably.
  18. Yes it is KC. It will end, eventually. But I can't help thinking it didnt have to sink to this level. I'll be quite frank and honest, there are board members here, the Pegula's would be wise to heel to and listen. And not just on fan disgruntled rants, but the hockey knowledge. For example, LG is well versed in youth skill sets, ink, along with several others watch their AHL team. The combination of both the gross and net wealth of knowledge on these boards alone could upgrade what we are witnessing now.
  19. that's what I do, the humor part. I'm sure you've read a couple of my posts in the threads. I was once like LG and some of the others. When I was young I kept folders on each player, their stats and so on. I lived in Wheatfield, so I'd go to Sabreland on NF Blvd and would practice with them. They'd indulge me for 10-15 minutes before I was kicked out lol. I can remember a time Houslwy was young, I was 12, he did a mock 2 on 1 with me against Suave, they let me score. I want back what this team gave me as a child, I want happiness. Win or lose, just pour your heart out in to the game.
  20. My family squandered what wealth they obtained by the time I was 14 (1984). My dad was a deep sea diver in the north sea in the 70's. He was traveling selling Electrolux vacuum cleaners in late 84. So, I picked up the torch for myself and carried on., self made. I've followed the team religiously over my life. I cried when Gil retired, but even that moment, my childhood idle, doesn't compare to these past 4 years or so. I'm a born and bread WNY'er its in my DNA. I am beyond disappointed in this franchise under Pegula's stewardship. Just so much pain.
  21. My dad's parents owned pirates haven marina at the foot of Sheridan on the river, my grandfather was also the youngest partner on the Motor Island ownership group.. So, yes, I was fortunate.
  22. I was 5 yrs old when my parents took me to a game where Lorentz knocked a bat out 9f the air with his stick. I was 3 rows up from the glass, my dad just wanted to see the Cup raised by the Sabres, he's been gone for 7 years now. I suspect my fate will be the same.
