They totally dominated first 18 minutes last night then took their foot off the pedal and got punished for it, hard. Hopefully they take this to heart. Also, that ice sucked and a lot of pucks were bouncing, which didn't help their passing dependent game. Can't blame last night on any individual, the whole team took a step back. The powerplay also hit a funk. Replace Vesey or Rodrigues with Lazar and go at it again tonight. The GLO line barely had playing time during the collapse and didn't get much going. They need more out of those bottom lines, especially physically. Hope the refs aren't awful again too.

What makes me mad is that the Ducks aren’t beating the Sabres as much as it’s the Sabres beating themselves. The Ducks aren’t that good and Gibson has been beat all night, but our own guys are choking on it. Hope Krueger gets them rolling.

Cozens slides in at 2C in two years when Johansson is done. Mittelstadt stays at 3C, maybe spends a year transitioning Cozens. Asplund takes 4C. Barring major injury, we don’t need to go out of our way to fill in centers. Need a RW or two and just draft BPA and actually hit with them for once.
