I've watched a bunch of this guys videos in the past, he's pretty insightful on alot of the teams, obviosuly does his homework and just doesn't talk out of his ass like alot of others do or make stuff up to fit a narrative. He's spot on pretty much where we all are, too many defensemen and could definitely use help at goalie.

Couldnt he just say I'm not playing for you without a deal?

I doubt Hellebuyck goes to any team without a long term contract in place, it wouldn’t make much sense for him.

Way too much term for a guy who has regressed. We need a 2-3 year bridge guy with Levi. Gibson was my desperation goalie when we had nobody.

The first guy i wanted was Joonas Korpisalo, we were never giving a goalie a 5 year deal so understand that move but you're telling me we couldn't of given like 3.5M per year to either Raanta or Fredrick Anderson? I think it's a missed opportunity imo.

Thatcher Demko is who i think they're targeting, 3 years left at 5M and can trade him in 2 seasons if need be. Adams was already talking to the Canucks GM during the draft and I'm not sure who else we would want there if it isn't Demco

I pretty much agree with all of this, I think he is once again in a similar situation as last season, I think Levi is going to be a stud but he's still going to be a rookie, there will be ups and downs imo and not having someone good enough to handle the downs is a huge mistake. I also agree, I think the D is improved but I feel like we're still missing a top 4 guy. I was hoping for solid 2 way forwards to replace Okposo and Girgensons and we didn't do that plus we weren't very good at all on faceoffs and have done nothing to improve that either. I like the 2 defensive defensmen adds plus they bring toughness. I'm not sure this is a playoff team as is to be honest, Quinn being out is another blow that we could not afford to take. I hope I'm wrong obviously!

Unfortunately this could very well be Adams downfall, why he continues to neglect goaltending is beyond me. Just adding 2 good defensive defensmen isn't enough, there will be times when Levi struggles or let's hope not may get injured. UPL and Comrie weren't good enough, I'm not giving up on UPL either but if it's true we're now going for the playoffs why wouldn't we add a guy who's been there/done that? It makes 0 sense to me and Adams has to be coming up on the hot seat, this is year 3 of no playoffs right? The seat has to be getting real hot.

We could probably argue about this but it's a matter opinion I believe, he's on the Sabres so I'll be rooting for him to succeed obviously.

I really hope this isn't the case, to put this all Levi's shoulders is unwise and unnecessary.

Until we get a legit goalie who can play with Levi this is going to be a glaring need. UPL/Comrie just aren't good enough imo.

I'd say Joker and Lybushkin are on the way out, which could still mean Pesce is in play. I won't rule it out until he gets dealt.

Or we could sign Tristan Jarry to like a 3year deal...2.65 GAA, .914 sav%, 117W, 60L for his career, just needs to stay healthy.
