I just don't agree with the leaderless theory, when we drafted Eichel our captain was Brian Gionta, we also had Matt Moulson, Ryan O'Reilly and Josh Gorges who all wore a letter for the teams they came over from.

This is so true, I don’t think most of these guys played as hard as when they were here. Maybe it was all the losing that just beat them down but my theory is that they didn’t have to be the man when they were traded, Eichel didn’t have to be the captain savior, Florida had plenty of top guys where Reinhart just needed to fit in, same with Montour etc.

Playoff Bob is a different animal than the Bob Sabres faced, he's dialed in and as it usually goes the team with the hottest goaltender this time of year will usually win it, that is Florida by far but it isn't always the case. I'm not saying they look fast but they definitely kept up with Toronto who imo is 1 of the fastest teams in the NHL, made Boston look like old men (even though they are) and now are giving a very defensive minded, well disciplined Carolina team a chokehold on the series after tonights win and as impressive as that is they did it without Barkov.

If Panthers win this series they will win the Cup, there is no better goalie in the playoffs than Bob, he's like a machine right now. I remember when Patrick Roy got into this zone like Bob when he was with the Canadians the year they won the cup back in 1993.

Some decent ideas. Mine would be make the draft lottery the morning before the actual draft, not behind closed doors but on a stage where everyone can see, also make it into a spectacle like the NFL but bigger, whichever city it's in get celebrities from the area who enjoy the NHL to come out. If it's a Canadian city have celebrities like Jim Carey, Keifer Sutherland, Ryan Goessling, The Rock, and have like Justin Beiber come out and sing some tunes. Instead of all the prospects being in the stands have them backstage chilling with each other. Also before the lottery and draft have the trophies being handed out for lady bing, Art Ross etc.
