The timing of the deal should have been the off-season and each day he waits is another day the fans lose interest, another day he shows a lack of support to his young club and another day he keeps this team from being competitive. It's also another day incompetence. Goaltending has been an issue since he arrived and he has done nothing but make it worse. If he doesn't want to flush this season away, then get a goaltender now.

I’ve been asking for real center depth and Jankowski is a solid addition to the bottom six. He is a legit NHL center which we need. He is playing well for the Amerks and this change is about 2 weeks overdue.

I wouldn’t claim Murray, but I would inquire on a trade including some $ and cap retention. Bales could really help Murray. Murray has really struggled the last few year, but is only 27. I think he can be salvaged. The real issue is he is owed 7 mill next season and 8 mill the year after. The Sens would have to retain 50% in order to get anyone to even nibble.

Dear KA, Maybe you could have done this search before the season! Why has it taken 1/4 of the season to figure out the goaltending sucked? Was it the fact that his 40 year old starter got hurt and won’t be back any time soon? Was it your backup choice can’t stop anything, just like last year? Why even look now? If you wanted to tank, then tank, but be honest with the fans and players. They are being honest with you. The players play hard every night and the fans are showing what they think about the tank. They are staying home in droves. If you truly wanted to support the club, you had all off-season to find an upgrade for Hutton and once Ullmark walked, a competent GM would have a solid fallback plan in works. You did neither and now your young team is struggling. What a surprise.

“Shadow”? Dell and Anderson are the hired goaltenders, nothing shadow about it.

Our next goalie is going to be Anderson when he returns from injury. Hopefully he’ll last more then 6 games this time.
