Boomer saying we are a team on the rise? What the heck has he been watching we haven’t?

The past month they look not much different.

JA is fun to watch but ultimately not good so far.

This is probably the “real” team we are seeing now. Without a second line center the playoffs are a pipe dream in all likelihood. We don’t even have a number two center in the system. JBot blundered trading o Reilly.

good call... Sheary could be like the Skinner of our second line IF he has a decent playmaking center there

Some of this is on Jbot too. We will find out. Red hot Islanders next. Florida whom we never beat. Then Boston again. Not to mention we have a long western road trip coming up. By the end of January we could be 4-5 points out of a playoff spot.

Yup... not to beat a dead horse but put his 33 points on our second line and this team probably adds 4-6 more points and is a sure playoff threat, albeit not a contender.

Reinhart is fine. Where we took a step back is trading o Reilly. I don’t care if he was mopey. I think it was Jbots first blunder. We have no 2nd line center here or in Rochester.

Nearly halfway through the season... I would say we don’t have a playoff roster yet. Too much dead weight. Sobatka, Pommers, TT, Okposo, Mitts, are useless. I like our future core defense though.

Islanders hot right now, and we can’t beat Florida... we might drop to 9 this week

I don’t see us making the playoffs without changes....the islanders, Habs, Bruins all better. We are a one line team.

The Islanders are creeping up. As well as the Habs. We need another 3-4 game win streak. We could literally be out of a playoff spot soon if we drop the next two.

I agree and I feel you. I live in Florida and my yearly ventures to see them play the Panthers and I am like 2-10. I really believe it's time for kids to start coming up. You cant get worse then forwards on 2nd and 3rd line save Sheary and E rod. I am sure Jbot is watching.

Horrendous game. JBot still has a lot of work ahead. Again... no scoring depth whatsoever. They will not make the post season unless this changes.
