Darcy built a stud team in 3 years with no financials or good ownership from 02-05. We’ve been floundering for almost 10 years.

Where does JBot go from here? We have a few decent prospects but no stars in the pipeline. I can’t honestly say we are getting close. We need 2-3 elite players yet.

Sadly it’s undeniable... good teams don’t have 20 game stretches of terrible. It’s getting worse each game.

I think we finish around 6-7. Carolina and NYI are the wildcards. They are light years better than us.

Is this on Phil? This team is dying on the vine. If we go into the break with a 5 game losing streak (which seems likely) these questions have to be asked.

Take away the 10 game and this team is on par with any of the tank teams

He said his first year was evaluation... so I guess this year is year one of the plan.

I bet JBot was betting on an 80 point type season and the win streak was a big surprise and now there is unforeseen pressure. He has been pretty adamant about keeping those picks. Could be after last years evaluation season, he has a 3 year plan. This being year one... just guessing.

Honestly what do we have in the stables? Nylander? Oloffson? Not seeing many game changers in our system to turn us into a contender. JBot is going to have to go trade/FA market. This team is a .500 type fringe organization long term if no moves are made. It's a shame because we have a franchise center and D man and we still can't win.

Well, we will find out everything about JBOT in the coming months. I think he rides it out and wants to build through the draft. This team is better, but probably not a playoff team yet.
