IMO he’s a huge piece to this puzzle. If he’s a shut down guy allowing Dahlin or Power to roam free we may be in that playoff hunt. If there are growing pains we likely won’t. Nobody else on the roster with his sort of skill set.

Tage has to be given shot as 1C moving forward. Sabres can figure out the rest from there. My guess is Kulich, mitts and Krebs are wingers. Although Krebs vision does give me some pause.

I prefer couple days before season starts to avoid injury risk. Good for whenever everyone else wants.

I completely agree. They have some battlers in that lineup. That’s why they should be rewarded by bringing in a legit nhl goalie and let these kids compete. This team was better than Detroit last year and has more promise (imo) and they go out and make all the moves I wish the Sabres made.

And if he was our backup then perfect I’m all for the hope machine. But it’s him or Anderson starting? Yikes. I’m sure that instills a ton of confidence in this young developing core. When is winning going to start mattering again?
