Ya that's my concern as well. He is great with the puck and has good positioning but will he get pushed around at the next level? Not sure. I don't want another Granani type dman that has all offense and clueless in his own end.

Ya he brings a unique skill set. Sorry I keep butchering his name as I'm on my phone. He just scored on the power play. 1 plus 1 through half of his first game back.

FYI crusader. Vanden somple is back in the gens lineup tonight and has an assist through the first period. Good to see him back. I could see him being a potential pick with our second.

Very interesting to read one of Mitch marners weaknesses is his shot. That doesn't sound good for an undersized goal scoring winger. I'm really going to have to catch some London knight games down the stretch if I get some free time.

Yep he's been out the past two weeks. Undisclosed injury but being called upper body ( I believe his shoulder). He will likely be back next week. I'm disappointed he's going to miss this game. Just looked and central scouting currently has him ranked at 33 so he will be around with one of those three picks and likely our own second. Keep an eye on him as the year goes on because he is a very offensive minded dman. Gens scoring has gone way down the past couple of weeks and their pp seems very off without him.

I'm really torn on whether they should keep all four picks or try to move two or all three of the later to move back up to 10 to 12 and get a second high end player. In a deep draft like this I will be fine with Tim making all of his picks but if there is a guy he loves that falls a bit he has the ammunition to move up and grab him if he wants. As for a good pp qb take a look at vandle somple. I'm biased being a generals fan but he is a very high end dman that I think projects to a pp 1 qb. His defensive game has really improved this year as well.

I thought we agreed not to discuss a mcdavid trade because there is no way it happens. The very outside shot it does is if it's to the team picking second.

Carolina down 3 0 late in the second which is great news. Having said that it is against the leafs who have been on a tear lately. They can't join the chl fast enough IMO.

I'm a little biased as the sabres require more forwards so I admit to not watching much of the two dmen. Brazal has had some injuries so it's tough at this point to grade or project him out. I would most certainly take crouse over zacha.

Ya I would agree with that. As of this point I would put him in at the sixth overall slot. It's too bad the isles are playing this well. I thought they would have finished around 6 to 10 and he would be an unbelievable second first round pick IMO.

I think crouse is one of the most interesting players in the draft. I could see him going anywhere from 3 to 20 at this point. I just keep thinking he is the exact Tim Murray type of player. If we pick three I don't want him to be the pick but from all the interviews I've heard from Tm this is the exact type of guy he would love. Size, uses it, leader and can put up points. This will never be a guy that puts up 30 goals but if you are playing in the conference finals a guy you are so glad is on your side.
