I was just joking with you man. This is very true, especially working a desk job. I'm still swimming and hitting the gym from time to time. Play summer ice hockey as well but I'm already starting to see I don't bounce back quite as quickly from some of those injuries. I guess if I didn't continue to play my crash the net style of play in Rec Co-Ed hockey I wouldn't have those problems :lol:

Thanks all! I was just messing around with the all downhill comment. It just sucks how fast time goes sometimes. Feels like yesterday I was Liger and Tanks age :P I'm just playing, aren't you going for your second Masters Liger? That must put you somewhat close to the big 3-0 as well.

:w00t: That's the beauty of going back through that journey to hell and back. You don't have to actually relive every experience. Doesn't take much to skip a few pages. But , having to go through the season and some of those conversations in real time was trying to say the least. We ended up winning the Shart and still thank the guys who never waivered but most of them didn't feel the Dyubnik trade was going to have much of an impact when it occurred. Funny looking back on some of those conversations now. Tank (Hoss), myself, Rob and SicknFla were a wreck for awhile there.

Well it's my Bday today. Unfortunately I'm turning the big 3-0 and everything goes down hill from here. The good news is we're going to a great little restaurant tonight that have juicy, thick cut steaks. I'm debating between the 12 oz or 16 oz fully loaded! Also, it's suppose to be pushing 30 degrees (86 for you Yanks) on the weekend. Finally, I mean finally, the summer weather is on the way!

I was stuck at work or would have had time to do all of those in the hour I lost. Wow what a season.

So I've finished my end of work for the day and still waiting on a co-worker to finish theirs so we can submit a report. Had some free time and took a trip down memory lane in the Carrion thread. Holy . Don't do it. I've spent the last 45 minutes re-living the mid Nov to mid Dec streak and how we reacted. It's like re-living a real life horror. I've skipped many pages and still am just at New Years. I haven't even hit the Second Chapter where we live and breathe Coyotes hockey. Must say, some never waivered, even in the darkest moments a couple of weeks before Christmas. Good on you guys. I am so please just to never have to live through another tank again. Holy Jack Eichel better be amazing!!!!!

Yep, Parkinsons. My grandfather has it pretty bad now. The anxiety he has all of the time is just so not like him. I'm not sure if it's the actual disease causing it or the countless medications he's on because of it. I feel your pain Shrader. Sorry to hear about your dad.

Ya I would take that trade all day which means it's not enough (probably not nearly enough). I agree with Wildcard in that a guy like Pysyk would have to be involved. You can also probably throw in Buffalo's 2nd (or at min replace it with NYI 2nd). Imagine you are a Canes fan and you are dropping from the 5th pick to the 21st. I better be getting back more than a late second, a very promising but not blue chip prospect and a throw in. Also, I almost forgot we drafted Hurley. How's his development been? He was the youngest player in the 13 draft wasn't he?

This is the wrong thread so this will be the only comment I have as I want the focus to be on the tourney and how Eichel performs. I'm very curious to see how McDavid plays in the OHL finals. The Gens are pretty stacked and are designed similar to an NHL team with the entire D-core (less Vande Somple) 6' or taller. They also play a very hard hitting and stingy defensive game. It will be interesting to see how McDavid handles the series. Can McDavid handle the big boys like 6'6 Mike McCarron, Hunter Smith and Josh Brown?

Give me a top 6 of: Kane - Eichel - Ennis Moulson - Reinart - Girgensons I know it's two rookie centres but these are the faces of the franchise moving forward. There's no real pressure to make the playoffs next year so why not spend the year breaking them both in? Look for improvement and then we're ready to start flying in 16/17?
