Exciting part is this all may very well play out over the next 9 days leading up to the draft......Calm before the storm right now. I expect a bunch of trades around the league to begin any day now. It's such a unique time with the expansion draft coming and the salary cap not moving very much. There's tons of rumors out there but this time it's the big guys (Mackenzie etc) reporting them and 's gonna get crazzzzzy.

Agreed. But I think that the other team may come a year or two later. I've heard Quebec City is in the running but I can't see them playing in the Western Conference so I don't know how the logistics would work.

I know it's been said there is little difference between 4-12 in many scouts minds. I also know and agree with TBG that the beauty of Eichel is he makes who he is playing with better and we don't have to search for his ideal winger. Saying that, I'm excited by the smoke out there we are looking to trade up to 4. Tkchuk is the perfect fit to play with Reinhart and Eichel. Kid is a beast along the boards and behind the net. Plus he can put the puck in the net. Reinhart Eichel Tkchuk for the next decade is like a wet dream......

Lot's of speculation that Las Vegas will be getting a team and enter the league beginning with the 17/18 season. Enter the Pacific division and must take one player from every team in the expansion draft whom can then be immediately traded thereafter if desired.

Bogo and 8 get us 4? Then my worry is GMTM is trading up for Chychrun and not Tkachuk.

Oh I've already come to that realization. I've been downing bottles of water this morning to stay hydrated in anticipation. Four of the other six guys are five years younger than me as well......I've packed a case of redbull to try and keep me going. Those nights of partying until 3am are a distant memory to me at this point.

I'm really surprised Keller isn't getting more love from the scouting community. His numbers are off the friggen chart. He's undersized but not tiny. For him to be a 'reach' at 8 continues to baffle me.
