  1. So that would be Eichel, right? Anybody else qualify?
  2. Why not? In 3 years I'm pretty confident he'll still be a very good player.
  3. Just to note: Pegula was once part of the stupid fan base. He may not have learned much in the recent years.
  4. Well , they haven't won a cup, so yes they do always lose in the playoffs. Last year, they didn't make the playoffs so already an improvement this year. And the year before the won the first round and the year before that, they won 2 rounds and lost in the conference finals. So they do win some in the playoffs.
  5. They have a different coach, new #1 goalie, a couple rookies in the lineup. It's a different team and he is a leader on a playoff team. They also passed off some dead weight to the Sabres. All things aren't equal year to year , so if you don't give him credit for helping his team have success it just sounds like sour grapes. Would be be a better team with ROR and not having Sobotka , Tage and Berglund for that time, I think we would be. But ROR can't play goalie or as a defenseman so we likely still would have issues. He wasn't what was wrong with last years team.
  6. But I think ROR, leading the Blues in scoring this season, has played a big role in their success. It would be hard to deny that.
  7. I would never try to convince you that Kane is the reason the Blues are good. That would just be stupid.
  8. I guess it just points to the dysfunction with the organization when you go through coaches and GM's . One GM trades for Kane , the next one may not see him as a valuable player, leads to what we have now. He's not the reason they finished last.
  9. Not sure which pick they sent over. We'll see how it works out. Would be nice to salvage something.
  10. He said at times he lost it, but he didn't quit. He was our best player. And we got crap for him.
  11. Paint it however you like, the trade didn't help us.
  12. not entirely sure of that, but not much of a defense of JB
  13. If they offered him a contract , possibly. But that wasn't my point- we got ***** for him and we needed help this season.
  14. Really have to criticize management for the handling of Mittelstadt this season. After a few late season games, he was expected to replace ROR as our 2nd line center. He clearly wasn't ready. They should have realized that.
  15. He's above average, certainly not the 'generational talent' he was said to be. Lot of players way better than he is in the league right now.
  16. Will that make them play better defense, will it make the goalies stop more shots, our forwards score.... There isn't enough talent on this team. There hasn't been in years and whether you agree with the moves or not, we traded 2 of our better forwards and pretty much got nothing in return.
  17. He said if you're going to fire me , fire me now. - I'm not sure 'requested to leave' is the right way to phrase it, but i really don't care. He would rather have not been fired.
  18. he's just a fan that happened to earn a few billion dollars and bought his favorite teams. Think of all the stupid fans you sat next to at Bills or Sabres games over the years. He could have easily been one of them.
  19. We are basically where we ended last season. A horrible team with goaltending issues, poor defense and too little scoring up front. This season has been a total waste.
  20. I feel like we are in good hands. (Sarcasm)
  21. I'm not big on following these metrics, but is the highlighted season one of his best? if so, that's the season he tore his achillies and only played in 17 games. I would expect you would find a better example than that.
  22. Who are they replaced with , so easily? Dahlin : Even though he is just 18, his mistakes at this point of the season are pretty alarming. He needs a lot of work.
