In general, having more scouts (more information) is better than having less, but if you don’t properly use the information available to you, it’s not going to matter much. I think more important than the number of scouts, is having the few people at the top able to correctly interpreted the information that they have.

I don’t think that’s what Elliot meant. I think he was saying that it’s smart to gauge interest in all players and be considering the possibility of a future without Eichel.
