  1. I have him on the second line currently. But I’m running a more balanced set up. I also have this weird idea about shifting Quinn to C (as I’ve heard he’s played there before) and running the best bottom 6 in hockey, if we add someone like Ehlers Peterka - Thompson - Tuch Benson - Cozens - Ehlers Zucker - Quinn - Greenway/Krebs Malenstyn - McLeod - Aube-Kubel …all 4 lines could potentially eat. 4th would feast
  2. It’s funny, I checked elite prospects after he said that, and of course Benson also has “C” listed haha.
  3. Yes I mentioned Greenway in a post just now but you got there first. I see what you are saying If we trade Dahlin…
  4. And the first 30/40 ish goosebumps
  5. An interesting piece in this regard is Greenway. Not fast. Presumably acquired purely for Granato This is the FUNNIEST post about the trade dude lol. He’s literally explaining the mechanics of how all trades work First, we had to determine what the *hole* is. Then, they had to *identify players who filled that hole.* now, this bit is tricky. You can’t select the guys who DON’T address the holes. You have to keep your eyes on the prize 3000 likes
  6. Just thinking about it. We’d make the playoffs if we added Ehlers. Barring catastrophic injury lucky. Our bottom 6 is too solid for a top 6 with a supplemented Ehlers to miss. I know there’s no guarantees but it would put us in a REALLY good position if we pulled that off. Prospect bandaid is ripped off. Let’s just part with a liiiitle bit more and get this done. We are pot committed. It’s time, anyways. Let’s get EVERYONE excited
  7. The only thing that matters is the result. I‘m not declaring, nor even predicting success: merely stating that if we add a top 6 F, im not sure anything else could have been expected in terms of offseason supplementation. That’s just imo
  8. That’s a salient point I’d imagine there’s a learning curve, too camp is extra important this year
  9. Flip the L4 wings. It wouldn’t matter but you have everyone else on their proper side so
  10. Well said
  11. Something very satisfying about this, too. One year. UFA at the end. Guess what? He’s still on the team. He still counts. The year exists, we aren’t “renting” it.
  12. I’m not sure it matters, as, assuming KA is indeed on the hot seat only playoffs makes a difference, but if we add a top 6 forward, by the prism of the moment at least we’d have to commend Adams on a very strong offseason. He’ll have checked all the boxes I can see
  13. Mostly because “Forsburg” didnt play in the nhl
  14. You read my posts in the thread and tell me
  15. Will think of him every time I read that name
  16. No one is overreacting
  17. Let’s hope Lafferty comes to camp in shape. So that holds
  18. Trades are ok. Depends who makes them Teams will in fact trade with buffalo fin
  19. Both of these narratives can die for all I care
  20. Kevyn Adams sitting in a chair in the dark as the lights turn on at key bank, as Malenstyn enters the room.. ”I thought you said you wanted to be here, Beck?” It’s still unspent
  21. Gotta get Aube-Kubel on the right and Greenway bumped up but ya
  22. Lafferty should present reasonable competition for him he likely doesn’t surpass That’s Twitter. The responses are always opposite to the tweet
  23. There’s certainly a LOT of “how could you do this?” On twitter, but I think this thread has a better handle on the trade time will tell
  24. It’s very true but, we may have the personal to play the old “hunker down and win 1-0, no style points” system if that happens
