  1. Nail biter
  2. Can get mad at me if this goes ill but this is almost assuredly a Bills w And they recover a fumble just as I type that
  3. He’s a great player in ANY era
  4. Some of those legends are so great that even being mentioned in the same breath is a significant accomplishment
  5. Do you know *how many* tires Danny flipped to get himself where he needed to be? no actually. Do you know how many? I need a number
  6. Could easily be keeping him to hedge their bet on Comrie
  7. I’m not sure it ever becomes irrelevant, probably depends on the player listed heights and weights vary in accuracy and one man’s 5’10 185 isn’t necessarily the same as another’s 5’10 185, we know that. There’s so much more to body composition. im not saying Benson can’t manage: not at all. But Kane had 7 more months of his body developing into HIS proper height/weight, without those 7 months I can’t say Benson’s physicality is at the spot it needs to be for HIS stature to not be a hindrance - - - What is Kane anyway, 5’10 177? Obviously we know a player with those markers CAN succeed in the NHL, but what those numbers represent for the specific feasibility of BENSON’s stature isn’t a certainty
  8. Checks ravens / lions score…
  9. As long as the World Series is competitive, it’s all good. This round has been great after 2 stinker rounds to start But I’d definitely root for the Phillies over the Astros
  10. Allen looked like (bad) Brett Favre on that one
  11. Looking at the highlight again, looks like he fans on the pass tbh haha Oh well, good/lucky
  12. The Detroit Lions being good represents a shift in the very defining forces of the universe: all bets are off this probably SHOULD be the year we break the drought
  13. There’s also a 7 month difference, which, the younger you are, is a greater relative amount of time to a growing kid that can be an eternity It’s the difference between now and our likely offseason
  14. There’s certainly a middle ground between over the hill vet and green grass rookie
  15. Impressive
  16. Integrating players with little experience, when the team has legitimate expectations is a much different animal than integrating players with little experience into a roster who’s primary purpose is to develop
  17. It’s possible. We’ll see how Benson looks after his 9. It takes a very uncommon talent to be able to seamlessly slide into a lineup that’s focused on winning hockey games as it’s primary goal, at the sparse age of 18. And it really has nothing to do with his raw talent: but rather, his experience. Smart Sabres twitter will literally never recover from questioning whether we had seen Dahlin’s ceiling during the Krueger years. It was such a laughable farce Im talking the chief, chief accounts of Sabres twitter
  18. Not many would have imagined Casey as our current best player a couple years ago. Maybe GA But a fair few would have when he was playing that WJC outdoor game in those Bills-esque uniforms. He’s kinda that, now. Closer to, at least
  19. Definitely. I hope it happens - that’s exactly what everyone was saying they wanted / felt we needed when they asked for a vet to be brought in. Clearly, KA didn’t seem all that confident in either back up, either, as we rostered 3 goalies and didn’t play either down the stretch last year. Need to preface by saying ONE GAME but if Comrie emerges as a competent “backup”, but in this case to, say, split starts more less 50/50 with another competent backup (backup +?) with Levi - goaltending could be good enough for now till it gets even better later with an experienced Devon. Will depend on rest of team. Either way, today is encouraging
  20. If we played a game WITH the jerseys but WITHOUT Samuelsson the world would explode
  21. Miller shut out for the new Miller. Levi era good while it lasted
