This is my guess.  Which means one of two things:

    • With an offseason of training and rehab he'll be good to go in October
    • The surgery was nominally a success but he'll never be the same player he was.

Either way I'm glad Kevyn converted him into solid assets.

I was able to read it without logging in.  I'm going to resist the temptation to log in and troll the thread.

You didn't last very long in your resistance.

It was a very well thought out and polite troll.

I like the Joki pairing actually.  At least give it a look.

Not sure Butcher-Fitz is a strong enough pairing.  I think they're both complementary Dmen, neither is a pair leader.  I think.

    I like Bryson with Fitz.

Each pairing is opposite yet complementary.

If Dahlin does okay in the left side, that could be a very strong first pairing.

Dahlin is on the right in practice.

I am pretty sure it was about James Taylor (who I think was her ex husband).

Mick sang backup on the song, though, which IMHO is a pretty cool little-known fact.

“You’re So Vain” is an infamously mysterious song about someone’s arrogance. It was inspired by several subjects — Simon told People in November 2015 that the second verse is about American actor and director Warren Beatty, who she dated in the 1970s.

Each verse is directed at a unique subject, but the remaining two muses are unknown. Some unsuccessful guesses have included Mick Jagger, who sings backup vocals on the song, and James Taylor, who Simon was married to for eleven years.

Caggiula and Bjork I'm done with.  Eakin can go and I hope he does but I could see where he is brought back.  I think we can easily fill his spot.  Butcher is done and I hope Miller is too but he's the one JAG D I could see Adams hanging on to (similar situation to Eakin).

Hinostroza  is a UFA also, if they sign him there is less of a chance of signing Eakin.

Bjork is on the team for another season, his contract expires next year.

Miller may be a glue guy and is a great depth guy. He's 29 and in his prime, I doubt he wants to be a 7/8 guy and will shop the league for his best options.

Caggiula was a 1 year depth signing. I can see Eakin being that guy next season.

Butcher will be shopping the league.

I see KA getting an end of career d-man as depth player for all the young guys in a cap dump deal.

On the left side certainly, but the field in open on the right and Johnson has some experience on his off-side.  I don’t see Bryson, Pysyk or Fitz as a major obstacle to earning a job with the Sabres sooner then later.

If any NHL coach and GM that exists willing to give you a very good chance and help you as much as possible in making that transition it's with the Sabres.
