This is something I can get behind. The skill guys will play tougher with a few gritty guys around. The grit guys will bang a few in when promoted to a skill line.

The Islanders and their 15 loser points. The Sabres lost a lot of close games in regulation, I hope they realize how valuable even one point is.

I hope Cozens or Dahlin hits him good. He is my most hated player because of the Leafblowers. The PxP and colour guys just never shut up about him and don’t get me going with the MVP talk.

Depth and goaltending are their biggest question marks imo. Their top guys could carry them through. I thought I read Evander Kane was scratched or benched last game. He must be up to his old tricks or the coach is trying to fire him up for the playoffs.

He wants to be there.

I know. I was entertained and that is why I watch. It’s just frustrating how they do that and then s**t the bed the very next game. Oh well, they will be 7 months older per player in October, does that help?

Good point on manipulation on the forecheck. Benson does this very well for an 18 year old, making Dmen think he is doing one thing while quickly changing angle or cutting back pick off the Dman reversing the puck. I haven’t seen Iginla other than highlights, he’s been rising up lists and I would not be upset with him at all. Bonus would be getting Jarome hanging around the team a bit. I know he works for the Flames but he’s a HOFer that people rave about as a person.

Kulich got his 20th, starting to find some offense.
