Just squeezed my beast into a parking spot. I've got a bit of a walk to the Dino but I'm heading over.

I'll plan on bringing a fistful of vouchers with me tomorrow just in case. To be honest, this may be my last year as a season ticket holder for a while. I can't even give away my unused tickets. What is left after this game will be available for any of the remaining season. They're not good for post season though, oh wait, you mean they're not making the playoffs? They're in the bottom of the league you say? Hmmm and not for a lack of talent? I'll still go to a lot of games but they raised my seat prices and with the poop sandwich I got this year I'll stick with a game by game system.

4pm is good for me. Depending on weather I may have more time. Andrew Amerk and Wild are welcome to tickets. If you can't do the pregame gtg send me a pm with a name to leave the tickets under at will call.

So to my understanding so far it's MODO, LTS, Cereal, Taro, sodbuster and the iTs. If any of you want to bring your partners I have enough tickets. I'd planned on taking the whole day off but I missed a day and a half sick in bed so I'm going to do a partial day. Unless there's a rain out then it's all day off. I'll meet you guys anywhere. 4pm sounds good. I'll do earlier if I get done early. Sounds like Brewhouse, Dinosaur or Exchange are the feasible options. Brewhouse isn't walking distance but is a short drive. I have an extended cab truck so I could drive a few of us over to the arena if need be. I usually get to the arena by six mostly for the free parking. The $2 drafts are a bonus. I need to get there early enough to redeem the vouchers anyway. MODO, Mrs. iT had a return email from her contact. He's working hard on it but may not have an answer until Friday. I'll pm you tonight or tomorrow about this. Anyone else wants to join in? I'm not big on the mig process. It doesn't have the penetration for anything thicker than 1/8". SMAW(stick) welding is superior in every way besides economy in material and labor. Once I've had a chance to run this machine and rate it, I'll get you a link. You'll be hard pressed to find a good mig for this price.

Also I'm very limited as to how I can "hook peeps up". I'm just a little F'n worm on a big F'n hook(kudos to you if you know what movie that's from). And mostly it will be all Mrs iT's doing.

I'm trying to get the word through. No promises. They're pretty cool about fan participation so even if we let them know when we get there they'd be likely to make mention.

My welding machine finally arrived today. It's a 160a dual voltage IGBT inverter. Runs up to 1/8" rod. They say 5/32" but you're not getting a good weld running 5/32" that low IMO. I've been welding for 25 yrs. I'm certified in SMAW 3G and 4G unlimited thickness and FWAC 3G and 4G unlimited as well. I'm proficient in a few other processes but not tig. My new machine can run tig with some extra gear(iT has some home schooling to do). 25 yrs master on a skill(mine is art) and this is the first welder I've owned. I'm pumped out of my mind to be able do make the things that have been in my head all these years. I've had a design in there for a trebuchet that I have been dying to see in real life. Chunkin some funkin pumpkins!

I actually spoke with Mrs. iT the other day about this and she reached out today to a friend in the Amerks. I speculated that Ullmark would be pumped to have a fan from home in town. I then started to wonder. Do you actually know him? I have a vague memory of a post about Linus being from your hometown?

This thing would have been like child's play. Then my 2 year old snowblower broke a spring that tensions the idler that runs the clutch. After a partial breakdown it's obvious the cable:spring assembly is a one unit deal. SOB. So plan B is the Super A. I wrestled the back blade on yet failed to resurrect the old girl. Those 6v systems area a real bitch. I resorted to my 17yr old snow shovel. Today was not her day. I'll bury her in the spring. Child's play.....also don't ever buy a Troy built product. Troy can't build !

To avoid any confusion, those of us doing the Rochester thing can coordinate here. So far, to my understanding we have MODO, LTS, Cereal, Taro and myself with more tickets available. Plenty of time to join us. I have a preference for pre game but am so easy that I can do anything. When are you arriving in Rochester, MODO? Do we have time for more than one stop? No obligations to hang out if you just want a ticket, folks. Like before. Is all good.

How? That place is growing. There's a $45mil expansion project slated to start there soon. Brewery expansion, Brewhouse expansion and retail. They may even kick the heroin addicts out of their shanty town over there by the outlook to High Falls. Once they clean those fools out of there that whole area is going to grow.

The Jackets are treating our crease like their bitch.

In my business they earn our respect by working hard. We don't treat our rookies like boys because we want them to act like men.

The Amerks game was actually MODOs idea. He's with us after all because of Ullmark. I just happened to have a bunch of extra tickets. There's 4 of us confirmed so far for the 24th. It's upthread a bit. Let us know.

His disclosure of these facts were in response to the "most difficult part of his rookie season" question. This was one of multiple "chores" he has. I'd expect something more benign as an answer to that question from a happy rookie. I wonder what are those other chores that he didn't mention? Maybe I should just remove my tinfoil? Call me crazy but I have a feeling there was some serious dysfunction in the locker room this year.

^^ We will definitely do a pre game. We'll see how many folks we gather before then. What type of food are you looking for and how much time do we have before the game? I like the food at the Genesee Brewhouse. Best burgers around IMO. The black and blue burger is my favorite. Cereal had a good idea about a thread for the Amerks game. Maybe next Friday we'll start one? That gives everyone a weekend beforehand to decide. I think you'll like WNY. We're friendly peeps.
