That's good.
-
How did that happen? Well it's in there anyway. The Staff reference was role not talent.
-
Well the Avs management didn't think he was worth committing to as part of their core. So at least I am not alone.
-
As WC said we can discuss at another time, but on the Hawks those two are. The Conn Smythes don't hurt either.
-
No I'm not. For the money he is being paid, he has to be a top tier scorer. He's not. But for his contract, he is a nice addition, but he his not blowing my doors off and I simply don't see the hands.

It's not a non issue to pay a 2/3 line winger that kinda money when he is basically a defensive forward with little ability to create his own shot. He is the product of his former line mates. Save the possession bs as that is easily credited to his sheltered role. He is the equivalent of Drew Stafford.

Pysyk was very good tonight. He is Mc Cabes binkie
-
There it is E!!!

Of course

Around the net they are playing at practice speed. A little urgency would be nice.
-
Atta boy Rasmus.
-
Zemgus has been a horse tonight in all zones
-
I think his handle is Hoss now.
-
Coaches do not.
-
My thoughts exactly, and he calls himself a fan.
-
I just wish he was balling for us. Can you imagine Larkin Eichel and Kane? Da truth.
-
I think finisher is apt. He pays his dues to score and no one can say he doesn't earn em

I think we have a different definition of sniper. Ovi on the half wall is a sniper. Jack roofing it is a sniper. Matty Mo is a garbage man cleaning up rebounds and banging home open looks. He is good at it, but sniping is beating the gt when he knows its coming. Matty can play his game with anyone who can get pucks to the net.

Great article thanks for sharing.

While there are some interesting RFA's available (Barrie, S Jones, Reilly) the overall class is weak and I think those guys will be signed by the time FA hits.

Greg Rajanen of NHL Central Scouting said he believes that Eichel and Matthews are power forwards with their own unique styles of creating offensive opportunities. "My opinion is that Eichel is a two-way power forward who can produce points, and Matthews is a two-way skilled forward who can produce points," Rajanen said. "Both are high-end players." http://www.nhl.com/ice/blogpost.htm?id=42024&navid=nhl:topheads

I am not saying they stay, but they get a showcase. Matt Ellis is where they want him. Now my opinion is based on the "this is a developmental year" philosophy. If we are in the hunt in March Schaller and O"reilly could be your callups.
-
I do not think so. Injuries will give the Sabres an opportunity to take a look at the other farm hands like Carrier, Baptiste, Rodriguez, Schaller and possibly Bailey. Although on D it could mean Donovan.
-
Flip Foligno and Moulson and I would like to give it a try. Moulson will go to the front and Jack and Tyler will generate. Ror and Kane should be able to dominate possession. I would like to see them for a bit. Also there is enough shelter for Samson.

That was nice. Flashing the speed he was blessed with. I think Jack will settle in as well. You can't teach speed.
