The Lehner trade isnt looking as bad as i thought. Murray may not know how to evaluate goalies, but he certainly knows size.

I think you add a finisher and there is less pressure to try and do it yourself and turn it over. I think having someone to set up would increase possession numbers, and scoring. Eichel fasching and Boedker would be scary. When Fasching is ready.

From a reliable source, he may be done for the year ala 2015 Lehner. I actually looked into flights outta Chitown to do the nostalgia tour with you and of course Chef's but nothing getting in in time for the game.

I would argue this is an exaggeration.

Why? Even Assuming a higher quality of player we have suffered a high volume of lost man games (Kane, Lehner, Ennis, Pysyk, Girgensons) so the overall capability is roughly equivalent. You keep saying we should be better but I don't see why. We are new, and young. I don't get the heightened expectations other than hype around the trades and the draft. We still were bringing, Gionta, Moulson, Foligno, Dlo Gorges Johnson to the dance. Again why "should it?"
