  1. Two passes to Tuch along the wall and he can’t control it. Second leads to a Devils scoring chance.
  2. Just don’t **** this up. Get two points and come home with something positive to build off.
  3. Maybe tomorrow they’ll show up before ten minutes left in the second. Mishandling the puck. Bad passes. Puck watching. Dmen letting forwards get behind them.
  4. FUBO has the first two games and I watched a few last year on there too. The rest I watched on ESPN Plus with some national games on HULU. Years ago NHLN was an actual service on NHL.com. Now it’s theoretically a package some streaming services offer. If you are watching games on ESPN Plus, that’s the NHLN package. Despite what NHL.com leads you to believe you cannot watch all out of market games on the artist formerly known as NHLN. You can order Center Ice but I think you need an actual cable provider not a streaming service. Bottom line is I recommend FUBO and ESPN Plus if you are out of market. You’ll see most games but not all. This might help but really it’s just to emotionally prepare everyone for inevitable let down because someone thought it’s a good idea to restrict viewership for a sport that claims it’s trying to expand its market.
  5. Same in Nevada. We have ESPN + and FUBO but no luck. So dumb.
  6. Well, if you are out of market it doesn’t look like you can watch it in the link. Fubo and ESPN+ also do not have it. Bravo to whoever makes these decisions.
  7. Hope this BS doesn’t happen during the regular season.
  8. Cozens should just focus on 5 on 5 and 2PP. Nothing more. Be the physical presence on the second line, drive to the net, protect the puck, create room and chances.
  9. I’m sure practice/scrimmages are offering Ruff a good look but there’s no substitute for in game. Not disagreeing with your take on little time. I just think at least one game for each at 2LW is a reward outweighing the cost situation.
  10. Looking forward to seeing Greenway, McLeod, and Zucker. At this point the biggest unknown is which of Zucker or Benson goes to 2LW and the other goes to the third line. Benson looked good last night and his highlights were stick checking, positioning, and tenacity. All quality traits of a defensive forward but help create O-zone time. I know pretty much nothing of Zucker and would like to see a game with him at 2LW to compare. Same with Benson on the third line. Maybe one where the two each play half the game at each position.
  11. So does Ruff continue to put mostly starters in preseason games?
  12. I too do not like Byram and Power together. Muel better step up and stay healthy.
  13. That poster needs to chill. We just beat a team of mostly never make it to the NHL.
  14. Line 1: Tuch seemed like a non factor. TT and Peterka played well. Peterka has a sniper’s shot and good offensive awareness. TT has creativity and vision and a rocket. Line 2: Quinn was ok. Cozens scored but seems to not embrace a particular style of play. Maybe hasn’t figured out what type of player he is yet. Benson showed he has awareness and stick checking above his experience. He’s more composed and seems to process what is happening better. Line 3: Krebs was unnoticeable. Rousek and Kulich are not NHL players yet. Line 4: Physical, showed offensive capability. Malenstyn and Lafferty can play middle six if injuries require.
  15. Gilbert will not be in the lineup unless there are injuries. Dahlin Byram Power Muel Joker Clifton Johnson
  16. Good game. Malenstyn, Kubel, and Lafferty are the Sabre version of the Jims from Shoresy. Absolutely love that line.
  17. I caved and got Fubo so I started from the beginning. I’ll give my much anticipated analysis after the game.
  18. Add Biron to that too. Can’t stand voice.
  19. You’d think after a decade and a half of pissing off their fan base they would find a way to make this available without all different kinds of subscriptions.
  20. First preseason game and jumping through hoops to watch. They're playing a lot starters and didn’t think to make it available on their site. This organization and league is dog 💩.
  21. I didn’t even know he was still in the league.
  22. Top 15 center at doing what? A center, like every position, does a number of things on the ice. Then you have stats such as production and abilities such as speed, puck protection, so on. Then you have to identify a time period of evaluation.
  23. I picked the second choice but now I think it will be the third. Definitely talented but a lot of missed games due to injury. He may need a healthy season to finish getting acclimated to the schedule. I see him lighting it up the first half of the season or a little more and cooling off the last quarter.
