GDT: Winnipeg Jets @ Buffalo Sabres 12/5/24 --7 pm MSG

I'd say we're due for the random game where the Sabres look unstoppable. 5-1. -
According to Joe Buscaglia at The Athletic (who has been hinting at a Hyde return all year), Hyde has been vocal about wanting a normal Thanksgiving. This is the earliest to have expected him if he were going to come back.

I'm not sure if this is supposed to be an insult or not? Shanahan has gone to the NFC CG four times in the last five years and the Super Bowl twice, with Jimmy Garoppolo as his QB for two of those seasons.

Donald J Trump, your thoughts on his Presidency

If Musk is successful at one thing, I hope it's getting the Republican party off this obsession with oil. It is extremely irresponsible to not diversify and plan for the future. The US does not have the oil reserves that many other countries do and we're drilling more than anyone else, meaning we'll run out even sooner than other countries with major reserves. -
Correction: it wasn't the 13 Second game, it was the AFC CG. Still, let's just win them all.
-
The last time Milano came off IR midseason, it was in week 13 against a 5-6 San Francisco. The Bills didn't lose another game until 13 Seconds. Here we are in week 13 going up against a 5-6 San Francisco team. Let's just skip 13 Seconds and win them all.

I saw that rumor earlier but didn't see any corrobation. I see Allen confirmed the rumor. Congratulations, Josh

Donald J Trump, your thoughts on his Presidency

Is this a serious question? -
The Bears are in their 106th season and have never fired a head coach midseason.

Oh yes, I know. My point is that every accusation is a confession when it comes to Trumpers. -

Oh, you mean Trump's comments on using the military against the enemy from within? The same Trump who called Schiff and Pelosi enemies from within, ergo advocating using the military on politicians? My boy, that wasn't months ago; it was last month. -
With a win tonight, a chance to reprise 05-06 holiday surge
JujuFish replied to PASabreFan's topic in The Aud Club
This is true. But I will also note that after their first two seasons as a franchise, they didn't suffer back-to-back seasons of .500 or below (points %) until 01-03. During their current drought, they had 10 consecutive seasons without finishing above .500 points percentage. -

Win tonight and they'll be above DeLuca .500 for the first time since missing the playoffs by 1 point two seasons ago. -

JujuFish replied to PASabreFan's topic in The Aud Club
That 05-06 team was also trying to break the longest playoff drought in franchise history. Of course, the record was only 3 seasons then. -
This certainly doesn't match reality at all. Not only did Republicans control both the House and Senate, but they nearly universally worked with Trump. One exception I can think of, thanks to Susan Collins, Lisa Murkowski, and John McCain voting no, was not allowing Trump to dismantle the Affordable Care Act without something to replace it. Democrats regained the House during the midterms, but Republicans maintained control of the Senate throughout Trump's term.

Your information is out of date. Trump has 76.8 million votes, 49.9% of the total. That percentage has continued to trend downward, so it is unlikely he crests 50% again.
-
LGR invites this with the way he communicates.
-
This is incorrect.
-
Well, they do co-share the longest active playoff drought in the big 4 sports.
-
Oh yeah, with 2 TDs yesterday, Allen tied Kelly for most total TDs in Bills history.

Although it's extraordinarily unlikely, the Steelers now control their own destiny to the #1 seed. If Buffalo and Pittsburgh both win out, they mutually eliminate the Chiefs via head-to-head tiebreaker and Pittsburgh would own the tiebreaker over Buffalo via conference record.
