  1. Big trap game vibes. The Chargers, without their starting QB and having just fired their GM and HC, have to play Buffalo, who just thoroughly dominated one of the (presumably) best teams in the league. That said, I expect everyone in the organization knows this and they will be well prepared.
  2. For what it's worth, McDermott is better than both of those marks, at .631 % and 4-5 (.444). He does still need to improve his playoff performance.
  3. I think my posts have shown I'm closer to your viewpoint than the general consensus on this board, but I think that's a tad far for me. I'll call him a good to very good coach. I do need to see extended playoff success (preferably in the form of a Super Bowl victory, but ideally at least an appearance) before I'll say great.
  4. In a game between two of the best QBs in the league, Cook stole the show. 221 scrimmage yards and 2 TDs. I can't remember the last time a Bills RB did that.
  5. With the Browns, Texans, and Dolphins all winning their 1pm games, it's even more important to take down Dallas.
  6. Hmmm, yes, I think we've figured out what happened to the Brooklyn Dodgers, the Buffalo Bisons, the Cincinnati Reds, the Cleveland Indians, the Detroit Tigers, the New York Yankees, and the original New York Giants. None of them could hack it in football. (Honestly, I had no idea there were this many NFL teams that had the same name as baseball teams until I looked it up)
  7. What's even wilder is the 1950 Rams scored 70 and 65 points back to back in the same season. Also wild: the Raiders' 63 points is actually only the second most points scored following a shutout in NFL history. The 1934 Eagles were shut out 0-10 (Det), 0-6 (@BOS), and 0-17 (@NYG) in the three games prior to beating the Cincinnati Reds 64-0.
  8. Tangent here, but halftime adjustments aren't really a thing, according to countless players and coaches.
  9. It is not illegal to be offside until the ball is put into play, which means it's not a pre-snap penalty. Same thing with illegal formations. They're only illegal when the ball is hiked. Encroachment is different from defensive offside and is a pre-snap penalty.
  10. I think you might be talking about a different play? This is the one with McLaurin: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XD1yfYZChP8
  11. To add to that, how do you not realize you're offside when you're further downfield than the center? And everyone other than the center is pretty much a whole yard behind you?
  12. That's one giant, dysfunctional family we have, going by your analogy.
  13. Yep. Instead of enjoying the victory, you're obsessing over stuff that will just make your blood boil and leave you in a bad mood. I get it, I've been there. You can enjoy the win and also hold the opinion that it's just the first step to the exoneration, as you put it.
  14. Because I believe anyone can change for the better. Except myself. I'm stuck as the a-hole I am. But you can be better.
  15. Whine, whine, whine. The Bills win a hard fought, close game against the best QB in the league on the road, and instead of enjoying it, you're whining. Hence: give me a break
  16. I agree with the first sentence, but he's not only wrong with the second sentence, it's also incessant whining.
  17. I don't know why people have such strong feelings about Taylor Swift (and I mean both positive and negative).
  18. Let's just take a second and breathe. We don't need to be sniping at each other because of the product on the field.
  19. He's always been way more aggressive on offense than defense.
  20. He saw Kelce was allowed to throw an opponent to the ground and had the silly idea that he would be allowed to as well.
  21. I don't think he looked at that and thought "I can squeeze it in there". I think he just didn't see Sherfield. Still his fault, of course, but not a decision-making issue. It's an awareness issue.
  22. You're normally a well-reasoned individual on these boards. I guess you've let your emotions get the better of you here. It's fine. Happens to everyone.
  23. No, I'm following you. I'm arguing that the ifs are unbalanced and that 6-6 is not a fair representation of the team.
  24. If the Eagles don't nail a 59 yard field goal in poor conditions, the Bills don't lose that game. If the Broncos don't nail a 57 yarder as time expires, the Bills don't lose that game. If the Jets don't return a punt for a TD, maybe we don't lose that game. If Kincaid doesn't fumble against the Bengals, maybe we don't lose that game. Every loss has been by less than a touchdown. We can play this if game all day long.
