  1. Carolina is not a cap team, and it has been reported they like making deals for talent that is younger and won't hit FA anytime soon (i.e. Duchene). Not sure if O'Reilly is too rich for them, but if he's not here's a deal there I'll take that bet so fast. He won't even be the best goalie in another two years, let alone the level above everyone else he would need to play at to even remotely justify paying him like an elite center. Bergevin and Joe Sakic, who's dumber?
  2.    He has an 8 year, $10.5M cap hit at 31 with injury history. Montreal would have to give me their next two firsts to take that contract on
  3. I would not be happy trading him within division. Trade him to Anaheim. They really need centers
  4. They will if Keenum leaves with Shurmer
  5. Good point. Then again there's Malkin and Crosby, Toews and Kane
  6. Which is why Reinhart, Nylander, and Kane are such enormous deals
  7. I think it'd be a case of Kane again with the whole there's only one puck thing. Let them be separate to make players around them better and drive the play
  8. Seems to be a pretty big topic of discussion, so have at it
  9. Thank you Guys, THEY NEVER LEAVE. We go over this every time, and every time the players stays. If the team wants them to stay, they stay
  10. John Tavares is not going anywhere. If our strategy of trading RoR is a cap dump to throw money at a guy that will never leave the Island, Botterill is an idiot.
  11. @NicholsOnHockey LeBrun: "I've spoken to a couple of teams that covet Evander Kane, that intend on making a play for him, and that would like to have him. None of them intend to include a first-round pick in their offer." #Sabres 1050 We gon' get f-u-c-k-e-d
  12. Man, is there anything Mittelstadt can't do?
  13. @TedGoldbergTV Housley: Eichel’s work/compete has gotten better away from the puck #Sabres @Matt_Bove In actual hockey news, the #Sabres are doing live two-minute power play drills. First unit: Eichel, Reinhart, Okposo, O'Reilly & Ristolainen (last year) Second unit: Rodrigues, Kane, Pominville, McCabe, Scandella @WGR550 Looks like Antipin is working back into the regular rotation, changing in and out with Falk. #Sabres
  14. That's not his fault or a result of the trade. That decision by Murray was and will always be a good move Good comparable. Still think Kane needs to move Now there's a guy we need to dump
  15. RoR trade has universally been praised a good move for us
  16. Only for 3 seconds though I want to keep him, but I wouldn't be adverse to shipping him out. I'd expect a ton back though Bingo
  17. Brawndo, who is in your avatar? Can't tell
  18. Not sure about live, but Thunder Road is the only correct Springsteen choice. Little known song by him, but Going Down is an amazing Bruce song too. Like his version of Atlantic City a lot more too
  19. Interesting. Good info, thanks Brawndo I still say trade him
  20. Sorry, but is there a source on this? I know you don't post rumors, I'm curious how this came out
  21. I'm content with his play, though I do expect a little more. But this conversation was about his locker room / leadership role, which mjd is right, he's failed 10000% at
