How did you come to those numbers?
-
I'll lock it when/if I need to. For now let's just see how it plays out. A temp lock right now will just let this all fester and explode once it's unlocked anyways

He's gotta be selling them on championships. Which is amazing because, well, they haven't won one yet, and he keeps selling them on it. It's not like these guys all get 3-4 year deals either, they all get long term 'we're here for the long haul' type investments

This thread is about to turn into such a sh!t show
-
Cristiano Ronaldo just signed with Juventes Yeah there's a soccer thread but god dammit this is huge and the people need to know
-
Cristiano Ronaldo, CR7, is headed to Juventes https://www.bbc.com/sport/football/44785173

I'd prefer if McCoy wasn't beating women, but maybe that's just me
-
God dammit I don't want it to be true Next time don't jump to conclusions about what someone is upset about in regards to news? Why didn't you ask Flagg what 'Ugh' was about?
-
God dammit

Any team that takes on both of those contracts deserves a few 1sts
-
I'd bet they'd be more interested in a McCabe

@TheFourthPeriod Kucherov's $9.5M AAV in Florida is almost identical to making $12M in California or $11M in NY after state tax, or $10.9M in Ontario after provincial tax. I find this to be such bullsh!t. It feels like it allows Tampa and other teams in similar scenarios to play by a whole different set of rules
-
@reporterchris Extending Nikita Kucherov does not take #TBLightning out of the Erik Karlsson trade talks. Quite the opposite; it gives them more certainty about their future. Word is they continue to engage outside teams on a potential three-way deal with OTT

Nobody on Tampa Bay deserves a Cup more than Stevie Y

Danm forgot we still had Larsson.

UPDATE: Sam Reinhart signs 2-year extension -- $3.65MM per year
WildCard replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
We all swore the same thing about Reinhart -
Not that there's anything wrong with that
-
He's listed as a LW/RW
-
Probably right, but I don't want those combinations
-
Tampa is a power for sure but having two defensive pairings of Karlsson -- XXX and Hedman -- XXX? There's 60m in a game, and that's basically 50m of it you're not doing sh!t for offensively
-
We aren't even going to make the playoffs for the next 6 years with Boton, Tampa, and Toronto in our division if Tampa gets Karlsson
-
He's in a better place now
-
@NicholsOnHockey "Team in Canada out West" wanted to sign Chris Kunitz. "But he’s like, ‘No, I don’t like their defensemen. They’re never going to win with those defensemen.’" Edmonton, anybody?

Sheary - Eichel - Oloffson ERod - Mittelstadt - Reinhart Sobotka - Berglund - Thompson Wilson - Girgensons - Pominville

Watch a fair bit of MLS (go NYCFC) and have been to a game, the style is just so much more...amateur. They don't have the skill or, I don't know what it is, to run such nuanced offenses as you see in the other big 5 leagues. The MLS also knows what style of sport Americans like to watch, so they don't call fouls at all. As a result, the MLS really truly is a hockey style soccer; it's just back and forth sprinting and breakaway with a ton of action and opportunities. Now, it's a TON of fun, and I 100% recommend going to a live game, but they would be absolutely dismantled by any team/league that had an ounce of strategy
