I'd consider a full season to be 78-ish games. Missing a seven-game stretch is pretty big for momentum regardless of the timing. Missing one or two games because of the flu isn't quite the same.
-
I'd argue being on the ice with Zemgus Girgensons is a health risk.

I doubt that has anything to do with it. It was removed well before her follow up, and there's two conflicting claims so who knows who is telling the truth. McCoy's lawyer is Ray Lewis' lawyer from the double-murder case, and he was also a part of Big Ben's legal team back in 2010.
-
Police have already stated this was not a random act. The home also has video surveillance which I’m sure police are already on if McCoy didn’t destroy it or turn it off.
-
So the accusation is that someone entered the home and beat her. Not McCoy. A lot of allusion to McCoy being involved here from the victim’s attorney.
-
The person who made the initial post says the victim’s lawyer made her remove the post.

Or walk in free agency ?

No doubt. Everybody wants to operate in secrecy.

Methinks lawyers and law enforcement don’t appreciate the way social media impacts cases.

The TMZ report says EMTs responded to a home on her street Monday morning. They didn’t specifically say it’s her home. There are three homes on her street. Police have now confirmed they’re investigating.

He played 50.7% of his even stength minutes were spent with Crosby last season. Exactly 50% (12 of 24) of his even strength points were without Crosby. 10 of his 24 ES points were with Riley Sheehan, Derrick Brassard, Bryan Rust or Jake Guentzel at center. He rarely played with Crosby on the PP and never with Malkin but only had three PP points anyways.

Not tomorrow but today.

The TMZ story also states court records show she says that on May 28th McCoy talked with her about getting married. Two days later he went to OTAs and she went to Virginia for a graduation. McCoy sent people to the home he was kicking her out of to remove stuff. She contacted police and had them stopped. http://www.tmz.com/2018/07/10/lesean-mccoy-investiagtion-domestic-violence-attack/?adid=article.readmore.click#continued

I also read her post as being “I stood by when x but won’t stand by when y.” But then I got yelled at for reading your plain text in such a presumptious manner. And now I read this post from you as “she didn’t handle this how I would have so I question the legitimacy.” Both very well could be. To what level is the next step here.

Regardless of what the truth is this woman is a victim of some form of physical violence. There’s now multiple people accusing McCoy and claiming he’s got a reputation for such acts. And while the two stories presented by friends of the victim differ it doesn’t mean neither are true or false. When something this extreme happens people lose their minds. Emotions are high and everybody wants somebody to pay for what happened. We’ll see who is responsible.

Player lists rarely reflect the standings.

You said “they” should have done something “far sooner.” You can try to dance around it but what you’re saying is this happened because she failed to do something.
-
Okay, so if you don’t need to verify then I don’t need to verify to respond. You are blaming the victim in your scenario. I have a serious issue with anyone who stands by as anyone is being abused, but if he can do that then she knows her life was always in danger. Victims of domestic abuse often don’t leave because they fear they can’t.
-
Some of our legal experts would need to chime in on this but wouldn’t the victim need to be the one to file a police report? She’s in extremely rough shape in that photo and may have been living in fear for some time now considering the allegations about a history of violence in the home. She may be afraid and the post from her friend could be them standing up for her since she’s afraid to go there herself.
-
Unless that’s makeup there’s a victim. I’m not making a claim about what actually happened. But you should also consider what you just said because you directly addressed what the caption said instead of waiting to “verify” anything.

I don’t think there’s any way Ryan’s contract goes to Tampa or a third team unless the third team gets basically as much as Ottawa gets. Ottawa is stupid enough to diminish one of the league’s best assets, though. Especially with a few of their expensive dmen coming off the books next offseason. But I don’t see us as a fit for them in this Karlsson deal or the immediate follow up because I don’t think Tampa will need to move anything other than Callahan immediately.

It took six posts to victim blame. Impressive.
