It’s not sustainable and it was against a bad team (they’re worse than their record shows). The offense was putrid and Allen continued some bad habits. I’m hopeful they’re led by people who aren’t dumb enough to think that was a “good” performance. If not then it’s going to continue to be rough. That and it doesn’t help the draft positioning.

I like that Allen is still a rookie compared to those two guys who are several or more years into their careers and have revealed at that they are or will be.

Seeing it live I can say, along with everyone else, that Allen was brutal. Not excited to hear his comments after the game. Said he felt like he was “on” today and only missed “one or two” throws. Mariota is very bad. He was offensive player of the week for the AFC last week but I still thought he ever looked bad in that game.

Why would we make major changes after a win and why move Reinhart to center? Even after losses the lines change too much. Build chemistry.

We won a period! Who I liked in the first period: Sheary and Skinner showing speed. Elie toughness and smarts on the PK. Rodrigues. Hutton VERY strong. Mittelstadt another strong start. McCabe looking good. Who I DIDN’T like: Eichel still, as PA said it, looks off. Risto a few lazy decisions but the apple was nice. Nelson not having a strong night on the puck. Ray and RJ struggling. Neither knows how to say Sheary’s name. Missed the obvious too many men call. RJ missed a penalty call and had to be corrected a few times by Rayzor.

Haven’t seen anything really negative or positive from him. I’m sure he’ll be around. Weak play there from Eichel. Just lazily skated to the corner with Sheary instead of taking the open ice to set up a one-timer.
