  1. I feel like I see these comments every game now lol
  2. It’s already been said he wasn’t healthy at any point last season so that’s probably the explanation.
  3. Wtf was that from Scandella? Intercepts the pass then dumps it like they’re on the PK. I don’t even like the effort like Rob Ray is saying. He wasn’t even close.
  4. Uh, has Larsson EVER done anything like that before? That was odd.
  5. My lord the NHL needs to get back to calling interference. It gets old watching the defender just step in front of a player who dumps it in and carry them out of the play for several strides after the puck is gone.
  6. They also haven’t mentioned this on the broadcast.
  7. Somehow they have yet to mention Jack’s injury on the broadcast
  8. Jack to the locker room
  9. Beauty there from Okposo. He’s played so well from that area of the ice this season. Assist for Dahlin there, too.
  10. We only get the seventh if Fedun appears in 25 games for Dallas (regular season or playoffs)
  11. Tyler Ennis has a beautiful effort and goal for the Laughs today. Also, Anthony Duclair is off to a very good start for the Blue Jackets. Hope he keeps it going. A guy I really wanted us to take a chance on.
  12. I’d have interest in Pearson but idk that we should make the move now. Fine playing it patient.
  13. At 33 (as Skinner would turn during the sixth year of his next contract) he was 33-34-67 for Philly which is obviously good. Dropped off immediately after that with only 16-33-49 at age 34 which I would take if he performs at a high level for the rest of that deal.
  14. Worth mentioning he can’t sign an eight-year deal until after the trade deadline due to dumb CBA rules.
  15. I think this team needs to sign him to whatever he wants within reason. It’d be a very bad turn of events if they made a huge improvement just to see their second best forward walk at age 27. I imagine he’s obviously going to ride the big start and ask for upwards of $9 million which is a bit steep. My hope is they get him down to around $7.5-8M. The 6 years at $50M mentioned isn’t crazy. If he prioritizes term that’s fine. Go 7 for $54M or 8 for $60M and tell him to pick. Going above those numbers gets tricky but it’d be worth the slight overpay. He’s 26 going on 27. Chances are he’s got another six seasons at a high level at least.
  16. Not that high and I don’t think they’d take him considering they just drafted Edmunds. I know he said BPA but White likely won’t be that nor would they complicate two of their top assets like that. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/prospect-rankings/
  17. I think Dunleavy is somewhere between fine to good but this is so frustrating. It sounds the same no matter who scores or how exciting the goal is. It shouldn’t be hard to show a little excitement on a CLEAR goal call for the “good guys.”
  18. That’s insane. We have zero.
  19. Well this was incredibly unnecessary and a misrepresentation of what was said, but thanks! I said Rodrigues isn’t a blazer. He’s fast. But he is the only one that was bringing speed there and if he’s not carrying it in or the puck isn’t in the zone well before him his speed is mitigated. As it was on that shift. Again, they were backpedaling. If you tie two anchors to a Bugatti it’s still a fast car but it’s not going to zip around. (Just so you don’t hop on this: Reinhart and Risto aren’t slugs but Reinhart especially is not what I would call a fast skater). Obviously Risto wanted to score there. You want to score on every shot. But it was the end of a not-so-great shift when they had started a change. I think it was a “great if it goes in but at least I can get off if not” kinda situation. Sorry I saw something different than you. Definitely must mean I’m possessed.
  20. The three of them together offer zero speed. I don’t really see Rodrigues as a blazer out there but he could go 490 MPH and it wouldn’t matter if it takes the other two seven hours to get up ice. They spent most of their power play backpedaling and then hugging thankfully. Risto’s slapper was basically a “let’s get off the ice” dump in that Price missed. That was fun considering all the scoring in the game.
  21. Risto finally did something right!!!!
  22. Love to have a zero speed combo of Reinhart-Rodrigues-Risto here
  23. I, uh, don’t get why you’d plop Sheary there with Eichel after the way Skinner and Eichel have played together. Eichel sloppy with the puck to start
