He'll have two seasons left on his deal by the time the CBA gets done. Maybe three. If it's three I guess I could see if but if it's two and we're not a cap team might as well just eat it and keep going.

Every single fan base does these chants. I truly am baffled by the softness of UB fans in the win. It’s part of the entire college experience for Christ’s sake. UB discovered basketball last year so now this is their new normal for a bit. They’ll be back to the basement of a terrible conference next year and we’ll all forget about them again. I’d hope not. The Red Sox have been competitive and better than the Yankees for a while now.

The big gripe I have is how dramatic the UB fans have been about this win. Hell, even Nate Oats got into it on Twitter. You could say act like you’ve been there before but they legit had never won in the RC before yesterday. This doesn’t change the years of dominance by Bonas.

Not this year, that’s for sure.

Since the recent drafts would be too soon I checked five years post draft for others around Samson: 2013 Barkov - 78 points 2012 Murray - bust (dman so no point in posting, didn’t even look) 2011 Landeskog - 53 points 2010 Seguin - 77 points in 71 games 2009 Hedman - dman but blows out Samson 2008 Doughty - see Hedman Note we’re pacing Samson over 82 games but not the names above so they’d also get a slight bump if we did that. I’d say this shows he’s still slightly behind where you’d want him to be at that slot but not terribly. He’s ahead of Landeskog’s point production but not the all-around player Gabe is either.

That sounds awesome. Wish there were way more color on color games. The Canes are on a five-game road trip and will apparently wear red in all five games.

I’m not sure this has ever been done with an ice rink and I’m not convinced the ice quality would stand up to this. Plus it just looks tacky as hell (the examples above look tacky as does the Carrier Dome). Build the Bills stadium downtown near the the baseball and hockey ones and don’t get too cute about it. Also make the Pegulas pay.

My info has been out there I just hadn’t really updated it until recently and now I’ve got some actual appeal so that’s nice. Doesn’t hurt to talk.

McCabe Mittelstadt is still all perception but hopefully that turns to reality sooner rather than later. Skinner is “overrated” in that he’s an incredible goal scorer and skater and can do literally nothing else. Reinhart, long-term, is the better player. As is Risto (and d > wing in terms of value).

Outside of last night against Henry their defense has actually still been quite good... just not DOMINANT like last year.
