as someone who doesn't believe in jinxes... i don't want to jinx it.

almost went to the nba festivities this year until we realized the last seat in the house was hundreds of dollars

NHL - keybank (sabres), pnc (hurricanes) MLB - pnc (pirates), safeco (mariners), old & new yankee stadium NBA - cleveland, milwaukee, charlotte and atlanta NFL - just buffalo but i’ll be going to a few panthers games in charlotte this year been to t-mobile (vegas) and barclays (brooklyn) and probably a few others but for different sporting events and concerts

my tattoo artist didn’t actually charge me for the design time but it was made clear that once the design was done the deposit was non-refundable which was helpful because i was certainly nervous for my first tat. she was incredibly cool and quick about it all. if i hadn’t moved from buffalo i probably would’ve went back. another friend of mine does charge for designs but he’s in pittsburgh so i didn’t go to him (i actually think he might’ve quit tattooing at the new year). a lot of people don’t look at tattoo artists as actual artists but all of the ones i follow will share their actual art from time to time and they’ll also show off some of them by giving discounts to people who go with their designs occasionally (but don’t rely on or ask for this).

the sabres need to take BPA. if the staff judges that to be byram that’s fine. i’m rooting forward but won’t do a backflip into a pool full of sharks if it’s not.

it took a while to go from the idea of what i might want to an actual concept. a lot of looking around the internet as designs and getting some inspiration then just vomiting it all out to an artist who made a design for me.

he wasn’t hired the first time with the idea that he’d either voluntarily or involuntarily scoot out the door for someone else who was simultaneously hired to learn under him. im all for trying new things but this ain’t it.

thank you! i got it done pretty much on a whim and i’m so glad i did it. it was also shortly after i called off a serious relationship and was just ready to be the person i want to be. it’s a good reminder of everything i’m still going through now.

i have no interest in carolina, dallas or boston winning it. i don’t care if teams get their first before it, it does not change our failure or make it easier to deal with in any way.

all the people i know who are 70+ constantly tell me to live my life for now, not later. i actually only knew of one person that old with a visible tattoo and they said they wish they had more.

re-assessing how i feel about the remaining teams, this is the order by which i want teams to win it all: columbus san jose colorado new york st. louis carolina dallas boston IF st. louis wins this round they go up to just behind whoever is left between san jose and columbus but i’m still holding out hope we can get their pick.

it was, but the use of it has definitely increased significantly since trout broke out. and the conversation for those complaining centered around the media’s increased use of “edge.”

i was kidding, you’re more of a nickel corner. an “edge” isn’t a position, it’s a classification. those players do not have a position. go look at college football recruiting classes. players with no position are listed as “ATH” which generally means they’ll play a skill position as decided by the school they choose.

@josie i agree with almost everything you said and still didn’t like the end result of the episode. that’s where my biggest gripe lies. i rewatched it on my tv and could see more which allowed me to appreciate more of the battle. but in the end it didn’t really mean a whole lot. the night king was a nobody who forgot to tell his buddies to make sure nobody runs by with a lethal weapon and also went for fashion over protection. it was a beautiful mess that was built up for almost the entire series and ended with all the main players standing. even a guy with one hand who we’ve been told over and over can no longer fight properly survived the front lines and being pinned against a wall. the actors, the musical score, the shooting and all that was great. the writing wasn’t there for me.
