They did when I went last year. They've added a couple good rides lately, too. But I haven't been since and, I'd assume, I'll never go again.

I met Katy Perry at Warped Tour at Darien Lake the summer that song came out. She performed and was dating the lead singer of Gym Class Heroes. She introduced herself to me and my brother in the front of the line for the Superman and was incredibly nice. Then she got stuck on the ride.

It’s crazy that Patrick Marleau has played all 82 games in each of the last six seasons, all 48 in the lockout year and all 82 in the three seasons prior. He hasn’t missed a regular season game in his 30s... he’s 39.

A. I don’t see mediocre to be “really good” but I guess I’ve been around Buffalo sports for a fewer years so my expectations aren’t that skewed yet. ? B. I went back to the tenth year. It doesn’t change the data. They got McNabb in round three who they traded before he ever did anything here. They got Marcus Foligno in round four who is hot garbage. I’d be happy if Dahlin is a superstar this year. I’m not sure he will he just yet.

Give it a year or two then maybe probably.

Mark Stone was mentioned in this thread in comparison to Skinner. Mark Stone would be the best player on this team.

The numbers definitely do not show the Sabres do not do quite well. They’re somewhere in the middle based on something another poster shared. Not every team is finding great players in those rounds but the ones that are are winning games when it counts. What years are we supposed to consider? Picks 10+ years ago aren’t doing anything for anyone for this team.

RJ’s role is not comparable to Sal’s role. At least not the parts they try to play. I have immense respect for both.
-
My favorite is when Jeremy White’s source only talks to him when the real reporters have reported everything and he just repeats it with some unprovable stuff thrown in.
-
I am telling you: he gets paid by the team. I know this to be true. I’m not saying it invalidates his opinions but it’s worth noting.

If someone writes your payroll checks do you work for them?
-
The Bills write some of his checks. It’s wild because Chris Brown is even more of an employee for the Bills yet is more partial.
-
Also yes but the same dilemma presents itself with them giving two forwards off their roster
-
Easy yes. Give me Cirelli. I don’t think we’re getting both him and Miller, though. Maybe take out the 30th and Miller and I still say yes.
-
Nope.

Echoing this with an emphasis on those who did so protecting the freedoms of all. You deserve all the love and remembrance coming your way. This day is about you and only you.

They’d have to do that just to get rid of Lucic’s contract
-
In which a reporter suggests Milan Lucic for Rasmus Ristolainen despite the fact that Lucic is a pure cap dump and Buffalo is the LAST team that'd have interest in him: https://theathletic.com/990912/2019/05/23/if-the-sabres-were-to-trade-rasmus-ristolainen-what-might-they-get-in-return/

Indeedly.

Gerald Wallace and David Lee of the NBA are good examples of guys who put up points because they got enough opportunities in “somebody has to score on a bad team” type situations. I’m just not convinced anything can be said about ERod’s long-term abilities with any sort of confidence.

Today is always a good reminder that war is bad, in every single way.

I've yet to see him play and produce in any important situations, and his production can't even be called streaky yet because he hasn't produced at a high enough rate yet. I love his confidence and desire to be out there making whatever play is needed, but I'm not sure he's capable of making plays. I THINK he's a bottom-six guy who is easily replaceable but I'm hopeful he could be slightly better than that with some thought he might be worse than that. Yea, my description above of why I'm not convinced is a big jumbled mess because I can't quite describe why I feel this way. I'm just not ready to label him an NHLer. I have a feeling he'll be a nostalgic reference in six/seven years.

I'm still not convinced Evan Rodrigues is an actual NHL player on an actual NHL roster.
