  1. Ullmark took the same offer from the Bruins to leave. Can't hold onto a player that wants to be elsewhere Or how about they clear the puck out of the zone instead of giving it right to the Panthers player at the blue line?
  2. The exciting part under Granato is these young players keep getting better and better at a rapid pace and even the vets like Okposo and Skinner are having big bounce back years...who would have thought Okposo had a potential 20 goal season left in him at this point?? Cannot wait for Quinn, Power and Peterka to be added to this lineup next year.
  3. I really love the creativity of the breakouts out of our zone...sometimes they don't work right but when they do it's beautiful to see.
  4. You mean "Sick Mitts"? Yeah...I can't help but think if they played like this from the beginning of the year and didn't have the worst goalie injury luck in half a century they would be in the playoffs.
  5. I go to nhl66.ir to stream the games when they are on crazy stations
  6. Damn...this team is starting to take no prisoners... Lose a tough one to Florida the other night and come right back after getting skated out of the building for the first 10 minutes of the game and handle one of the best teams in the conference...in regulation.
  7. How do you know Jack Quinn won't be one? Looking pretty superstarish in Rochester right now
  8. Seriously Bryson? How do you trip on yourself?
  9. They managed to find 3 or 4 options during the initial tank year, maybe they should revisit what they did there.
  10. Hell no. You can find good goaltending for relatively low cost. Certainly no need to trade a 1st and a prospect for it. Remember how the Sabre goalies when we attempted to tank for Eichel with no talent on the team kept trying to ruin our tank job by playing really well?
  11. 😂😂😂😂😂
  12. I expect a minimum of 30 goals and that he will lead the team in points and look like he is turning into a star. This didn't age well 😂 Damn...talk about prophetic
  13. Yeah goaltending, especially during the stretch where we were down to like our 5th and 6th string goalies due to injuries was ridiculously bad. Seems they allow at least one softie most nights. In 2 years this team will be going places I think...they have a legit pipeline of young talent coming up.
  14. It's crazy because when he was playing with the Sabres he was excellent most nights. Perhaps this is a case where he is better in the NHL than the AHL? Wouldn't be the first time a goalie pulled that off.
  15. Really surprised to see them so far back even tho they have a winning record...seems like their entire division has a winning record. They score a lot of goals but they have given up the second most in the AHL...their goaltending has been atrocious it seems. Damn...Quinn is really freaking good... 48 points in 32 games... Can't wait til he is up here for good next year along with Peterka
  16. Hey, it's not my fault the site on mobile had some snafus! Kept pressing submit reply and it acted like it didn't work, then after I gave up, noticed it actually did work like 5 times...and wouldn't let me edit it to delete the extras 😂
  17. That reminded me of something straight out of the movie Slapshot...I was half waiting for the Hanson brothers to pile over the boards and start wailing on the Sabre players after they scored 😂😂😂 That reminded me of something straight out of the movie Slapshot...I was half waiting for the Hanson brothers to pile over the boards and start wailing on the Sabre players after they scored 😂😂😂 That reminded me of something straight out of the movie Slapshot...I was half waiting for the Hanson brothers to pile over the boards and start wailing on the Sabre players after they scored 😂😂😂 That reminded me of something straight out of the movie Slapshot...I was half waiting for the Hanson brothers to pile over the boards and start wailing on the Sabre players after they scored 😂😂😂 That reminded me of something straight out of the movie Slapshot...I was half waiting for the Hanson brothers to pile over the boards and start wailing on the Sabre players after they scored 😂😂😂
  18. Sabres sleepwalk through the first 25 minutes of the game and then decided to wake up and play... Amazing comeback, but it would be nice not to have to do it twice in a row, 2-0 to the Rangers and 4-0 to the Hawks. I have to admit something is brewing with this team over the last 3-4 weeks and I really really like it. The last goal he allowed was brutal...luckily his counterpart allowed an even more brutal game winner. Well, the double deflection on the Okposo goal was kinda lucky too
  19. Far more cringe that a person can't even spell a player name right, IMO
  20. Who knows. Let's get there for the first time in more than a decade and then we can decide. Cool?
  21. I think you mean Krebs?
  22. Or a slapper...sometimes he just wound up and blew the puck by the goalie who never even moved
  23. Surprised after looking it up but Tage Thompson has the 3rd highest goal scoring percentage in NHL history of players with a minimum of 10 attempts The only other active player with a higher goal scoring percentage in shootouts in Artemis Panarin. Always thought Kotalik was the best I had ever seen but he ranks only 18th. https://records.nhl.com/records/skater-records/shootout/best-shootout-scoring-percentage-career
  24. Didn't know he was that bad...the best I've ever seen in the shootout was Ales Kotalik...dude has the forehand, backhand roof job similar to what Ovechkin did tonight except he did the same move every time and even tho everyone knew it was coming it was almost unstoppable. Surprisingly, Kotalik is only 18th best in NHL history based on shooting percentage...in fact we might have a better player right now in Tage Thompson who ranks 3rd all time in shootout goals. Skinner is awful, ranking 387 out of like 419 players with a minimum of 10 attempts. In fact Ovechkin isn't that great either, ranking 200th. https://records.nhl.com/records/skater-records/shootout/best-shootout-scoring-percentage-career https://youtu.be/JUaIyNyM1as
  25. Huh? Lehner literally would give up a goal on every shot in the shootout. I don't think he is in that category... Out of 116 goalies with 40 or more shootout attempts, Lehner ranks 113 in save percentage. You know who ranks one spot below him at 114? Marty Biron. Surprisingly, two former Sabre goalies rank very highly. Linus Ullmark is the best goalie in NHL history in shootouts based on save percentage and Jhonas Enroth is 11th overall.
