Eichel is taking his game to another level...dude is just doing some amazing things to the point you almost EXPECT it every night...

Actually i watched the NESN broadcast and he was basically praising Eichel nonstop...and they couldn't stop commenting on what a fantastic game it was...

It's very encouraging to see the Sabres have this many competent defensemen when they are needed for a game or two...and by competent I mean they don't puke all over themselves when they are on the ice...

Dude, you really should go back and watch highlights from that year...they were phenomenal to watch...it was like the best game of the Eichel line every night the entire year

I think Pilut might be ready to be a contributor at the NHL level already...he has made several very nice plays in the offensive zone leading to goals...his defense has been a little shaky but overall he has played very well...sucks he is going to be out a while...

He is still very young...it won't hurt to keep him in the AHL for a few more years of seasoning...

Ehh...I don't think so...LaFontaine, Mogilny and Andreychuk was something out of this world in '92-93... Lafontaine had 40 points after 18 games and 100 by his 55th game... Goal totals for the line mates that year? LaFontaine 53, Andreychuck 54, Mogilny 76 But that's not taking anything away from these guys, they are fantastic...a little bit of a different era back then but those numbers were prodigious even back then... Those 3 accounted for 54.6%(183) of the Sabres' 335 goals that year. The Eichel/Skinner/Samson line has accounted for 43.8%(43) of the teams 105 goals this year... In 1992-1993 they also played 84 games

I dunno about that, but I know he is turning into a great 2 way player and has really picked his game up the past 6 or 7 games...he's been downright dominant

Mittlestadt might be green but he has more talent in the toe of his right skate blade than Berglund has ever had... Really bad look by a guy on a team that is winning and playing relatively well.
