Difference in replies. What would stop you saying "So we are looking to shore up our top 6 wing, we are confident player x can fill in one slot, which would give us $4million to fill the other slot" That is basically philosophy

Yes. Because they are UFAs. Everyone else cannot sign until tomorrow because that is when their current contracts runs out, so they are not a UFA until tomorrow
