  1. Falling backwards into success is the best!
  2. Lehner handling the puck. Drink.
  3. That's cold, man.
  4. More or less so than the hangover? :p
  5. Seriously, his hands look like mine.
  6. I hope it was empty and/or cheap. Well played
  7. Why settle for a movie? This has long-running sitcom written all over it!
  8. I feel like it generally looks pretty good when it's in the zone and set up, but struggles to get to that stage consistently. YOU TAKE THAT BACK!
  9. I can't believe I was happy to see the second unit take the ice
  10. I take it back.
  11. And again
  12. We look reasonably good so far.
  13. This gets a big thumbs up from me.
  14. Oh man, Foligno had ZERO clue that pass was coming. Sadness.
  15. Another night of Des puns makes it all worth it.
  16. This is where I'm at. I would also suggest that even if he does need more time, he's not going to get it. Players of his pedigree simply don't spend that much time in the minors.
  17. My hope is that GMs come to their senses and don't use the Larsson-Hall trade as market price in perpetuity. Maybe it's a blind hope, but still...
  18. Y u hate Jack? Because our blue line is still worse.
  19. Indeed. Jack's suit, on the other hand...
  20. I know Anaheim has more depth to deal on the left, and Fowler's next contract may be problematic, but I wonder if Vatanen ends up odd man out.
  21. Death, taxes, and your love of all star games  Just get rid of the game. Skills competitions for the positions, and general competitons, would all be better. What about Olympic-style events too. Volleyball games? Hell ya! If there must be a game, make it actual flag football, rather than make believe normal football.
  22. Yes, but he's not exactly an offensive contributor.
  23. Maybe instead of dicking around with the draft, the NFL should make it easier for teams without an elite QB to be competitive. That could solve "tanking" (which is NOT a problem in the NFL) AND make the league more entertaining. What I'm getting at here is crack down on pick plays and just generally make it easier to play strong defense. I fully understand and in many ways support the NFL's drive to make the passing attack the way to go, but I think the pendulum may have swung too far in that direction because there aren't enough QBs who can do it.
  24. That is one fugly list after Shattenkirk--not a single guy I'd want to plug into the top-4. Maybe Campbell? Suspect he'd still want to head to a contender though.
  25. And? Honestly not sure what you're getting at with this. Tendering Hogan a higher offer to prevent a poach would have cost us another player because the team was cap-strapped. What if keeping Hogan had prevented us from signing Zach Brown or Lorenzo Alexander? The analysis isn't whether Hogan is marginally better than Goodwin, it's whether Hogan is marginally better than Goodwin and another player.
