I wish we got that benefit of the doubt at the blue line in the offensive zone...?

Lol...the nature of TRPM is that there will ALWAYS be a group of player in the minus section unless everyone performs exactly the same way regardless of role. So if you actually made benching decisions based on this, it'd just switch which players move to the bottom, no matter how good or bad the remaining players are.

Sure, this team would be cup favorites. But assuming they mean time with Sabres, the fact that Larsson, Kyle, Moulson, Ennis, and Stafford all made it at the same time is rather damning of our decade, IMO. Kyle had a nice first year here, but it was one 45 point season. I love Larsson, but...yeah. Stafford did have a 31 goal campaign, but was universally despised for good reason pretty much every other season, and Ennis really never was all that good at hockey even if he flashed skill at times. And Moulson could finish on occasion, briefly, while doing nothing else. And yeah, that defense. But to be completely fair, we'd have to compare these teams for those of other teams. Which might be something I work on during the game tonight if it sucks!

I took that as meaning they don't know when his symptoms will clear. They didn't know with Josh either, each day was "wait and see which practice events he's allowed to take part in" Not that it's any sort of guarantee that it'll be awhile. But I could be wrong.

Allen recovered from being knocked out in like 4 days. KO's concussions since the big one have ended relatively quickly. Why are we all so sure Dahlin is missing an extended period of time?

Erik Cernak Suspended Two Games For Concussing Dahlin

SMH! Aren't you not supposed to use screens when concussed?? -
This might not be a popular opinion in this climate, but I can't think of a single Sabre that I would accuse of not playing their hardest as often as they can, within reason - ie, everyone has a lazy shift here or there, and some players are hardwired to do it less often than others. But I don't think a single Sabre tries their hardest less than is acceptable.

I'm not sure, though I know he doesn't count against our cap anymore. Hodgson still does, and will be 750k per season through 2022-2023

Movies / TV Shows - I Have Watched / Plan To Watch

Yeah, the story was fine I just didn't like how it was written. Which isn't a flaw that would obviously carry over to a film adaptation -

I read a book with that title a while ago. Didn't like it very much. Is it about some psychopath keeping a girl and their child locked up in a shed for years? -
It's funny that McVay is last. And that Bellichick is near the bottom. I don't blame either of them given what their offenses look like with Brady and Goff

It's the age of twitter. You're out of luck!!

I'm not reading into it so much as wondering if, given that we know they've been talking, the fact that he's here for other reasons would increase the chance of a deal being done versus him not being here

My girlfriend teaches in a middle&elementary school in WNY. She, honest to god, has not come across a single Sabres/hockey fan in the 2.5 months since school began. She has interacted with most of the 7th graders there I believe. It's young, but my Sabres fanhood and those of all my friends that still follow today were well-established at that point

Would the fact that the CGY GM is here in person be more likely to facilitate a trade soon, if one were to happen between these teams?

Defensive DVOA. The miscommunication here is that I'm not saying that Josh's game was great or bad against any of his teams, I'm saying that his 3rd and long stat is stunning because it comes against a typical slate of defenses that you could expect to see in any season, not just an easy schedule one. He's first in the league at it somehow. There are a lot of things that I never thought he'd be able to do, so even though he's still got a long ways to go to be a top 10 QB, this season is full of surprises and tremendously successful so far

My thing with Skinner is that we gave him 9 mil because we couldn't afford to ice a lineup without him, not because he's a 9 mil player He simply won't produce or play the way we want without being with Eichel, and putting his name on a piece of paper that gives him a lot of money doesn't change that That's why I personally don't talk about Skinner being quiet

If Miller does sit again tonight, then the "rotation" Krueger has talked about is this: Miller sits for 6 out of 8 games McCabe sits for 1 of those 8 Nobody else sits at all That's not a rotation Ralphie, no wonder we're shopping Miller he probably asked us to

Gonna win this one. CGY sucks and is mired in atypical coaching controversy

Did you see the stat I am referring to? He's 20/29 on converting 3rd and 10+ when asked to throw. It's not like he ws 0/9 versus 1,5, 7, and 20/20 against the rest of them. It's distributed pretty evenly most likely. We beat teams 5 and 12, And I'm pretty sure Denver was like 7th before we beat them up and sent them to 12th this week. And despite the 3 turnovers, Josh heavily outgained New England (375 total yards to 224, 23 first downs to 11, and yes, some of those were Barkley, but before Josh went out he had a TD drive and was in the middle of driving down the field again, well into NE territory, which is more impressive against NE's D than NE's lack of yards against our worse D) - that wasn't the first time a young QB had trouble with Belichick disguises (compare Darnold on MNF against NE to Darnold now, for another example). In fact the Ravens are the first team with a QB in the first 2 seasons to beat NE in like 25 games or something like that But anyway, I don't know what your point is considering the stat was 20/29, and there was a whole spread of defensive rankings there, 5 above average and 5 below, obviously some of that success came against good teams and some came against bad
-
¯\_(ツ)_/¯
-
And though we've played bad teams this year, that doesn't mean he's doing this against bad defenses: Our opponents have defensive DVOA rankings of: 1, 5, 7, 12, 13, 18, 21, 27, 30, 32. Pretty standard

Michael Jordan, the skater in question, says that the trainers and other players DID see it. This sounds like something bubbling under the surface that is about ready to burst into the open
