Boston didn't get their first shot on goal until like 7 minutes left in the period, we were out-shooting them 14-0 to that point. They played well.

Hope they finish this one out, that was a wonderful period. I'm watching this game back home where I was for the bulk of the win streak and the hockey vibes/memories are so good. The flaws seem so small/unimportant on this particular couch That period certainly helped

Boston was down there with us in depth scoring last year too. They're just so good at team defense, and the top line is ludicrous

I believe Rodrigues played one period on Eichel's line last year. I'm pretty sure the line scored two goals that period lol Edit: it was the season before. I don't think he scores very much against them when he's not.

What he's saying is that adding a player who can do those things but does stuff like go 21 games with zero points probably doesn't move the needle on the season

Allen has improved 16% in completion percentage on throws between 10-20 yards down the field from last year to this year, he's at 65% there. As of a couple weeks ago he had the best passer rating in the NFL in that range too. Or QBR, i forget which. That's a nice development, those throws move the chains.

The Oilers roster is among the worst I've ever seen, if you look past the first line. I simply don't believe they will be in the picture at the end of the season barring 130-140 point finishes for McD and Draisaitl.

Was on a plane from Detroit to Buffalo last night. When we landed, we sat on the tarmac for longer than the time spent in the air. The pilot's broadcast back to us to tell us what was going on was so quiet that I didn't have any idea what the issue was. It was 11:30 pm when we landed, I can't imagine the airport was so busy that things were clogged up. People have to work in the morning yo have your gates ready before the damn plane lands
