Looks like Leaves and Habs. That's awesome.

I am partial mind you, but I really think that The Great Satan sums it up perfectly. In every way.
-
It's not so much my dislike of the hockey team based in The Great Satan, being The Great Satan is terrible in it's own right, but I am a fan of the hockey team from Montreal. They have been my #2 my whole life.

Seems like someone pissed in Liger's cheerios this morning.

Why can't the Sabres be more like the Bruins?
Sabres Fan in NS replied to dudacek's topic in The Aud Club
I love how you speak so goodly here, especially the dastardly part ... 😍 The only thing worse, well just as bad, is if someone were to suggest we try to more like the equally dastardly Flyers. @dudacek should know better than to suggest such a dastardly thing as trying to be more like the most dastardly. I really like the Avs, maybe we should try to be more like them? MacKinnon!! 😎 -
Fair enough. Well then, only the good die young. Papa J's was fantastic. EDIT TO ADD: The original Papa J's burned down, but they are planning / hoping to re-open someplace, or rebuild it.

Either things have changed a lot since I lived in Pittsburgh (early 1990s), or @Eleven did not go to the right places. I agree that right downtown is lacking, so one has to venture out a bit. The strip is fantastic with little shops and cafe's and food places ... small family run places, mostly Italian. The hill district is very nice and way out (not) in Carnegie is the best Italian Rest. I ever had the pleasure of dining in (Papa J's).

UEFA Champions League 2018-2019
Sabres Fan in NS replied to Sabel79's topic in Soccer / Football's Topics
Not starting a new topic, but Chelsea beat Man C. 1 - 0 to win the 2021 CL. Ho hum, at least the club from London does not win it very often. Also, Pulišić is very, very good. I would not be surprised if a World Player of the Year comes his way at some point. He is that good. -

The Great Satan is going complete Great Satan on this series too. I anticipate a complete collapse in game 7. GO HABS!! MUST WIN!! For those of you who are kind of new here, Montreal is my #2. -
He was not wealthy, relatively speaking, when they married in 1993. His real wealth was generated in 2010 when he sold off most of his shares in his company. Kim is in no way a 'trophy wife'. It is such a terrible thing to say, more so since it is in no way accurate.

New Stranglers ... A fantastic tribute to the great Dave Greenfield.

It's been over 20 years now. Can we just move on? And there is no way that I see The Great Satan coming out of the Great White North. None. Zero. -
You and I are basically saying the same thing.
-
He is very good, but unless something gives there is a real danger that he will be wasted by the Sabres. The time has come to build this team around Dahlin, just as the Islanders did around Potvin.
-
I agree with all of this, starting with the aweful 'trophy wife' comment. I suggest @Kong edit that out. Just terrible.

No one is forcing anyone to be a fan, so there must be something much more to it than wins and loses. The bottom line to me is that the string of GMs since DR have not done a very good job. I think if TM had not been such a communication doofus we very well may be in a much better place had his plan been seen through. Then again, there is no way to know.

The Great Satan will not win the North. They may not even win against the Habs. I can't see them beating the Peg. If they do they should play all the games where the opponent in the Semi Final is located. Are fans allowed to attend? If not why would it matter for The Great Satan to have a 'home' arena? -
Do the Wild have any former Mooseheads? I don't have time to check, but if they do then they better be included in this deal, eh.
-
A banana ...
-
Not to mention that Hartley's only real success was with one of the most stacked teams ever.
-
I just want a former Moosehead on the Sabres, if not that than at least a fellow NSer. Sid is still the top player in the league, IMO, based largely on his playoff pedigree at this point. My pipedream would be to some how trade for MacKinnon ... 2 birds with 1 stone thing ... former Moosehead star and from NS too. Marchand played for the Mooseheads and is from NS, but not interested in any of the dastardly Bruins. As for your pipedream ... I would take Viktor, but probably not Brooks. Nice try to get us back on track and off the Star Wars train. It seems to have worked out well. Good job!!
