It's always possible, and I've thought this more than once, but I think Connor and Jack going 1 then 2 is looking like a pretty sure bet.

In a word: ownership. I don't think Daryl Katz is going to want to be the most hated man in Canada for even a day.

That is 9.3 miles of posts using the Imperial System.

You are missing the point. 15K!!! halfway to 30K

Love Nash, but I don't like his age. He's 31 tomorrow. I don't want him unless it is a clear bargain, or there is more coming back.

There is time here. I think it will all become clear on draft day.

It is a common tactic with player agents. Even Enroth's agent threatened to jump to the KHL. Grigorenko may be more likely to jump because I really think if GMTM decides it needs to be a two-way contract, he won't much budge. I really liked what I saw from Grigorenko in the last part of the season with Gionta. Despite his awful handling. The guy is really talented on the puck.

I'm referring to the entire thing. NBC basically consigned the leagues premier product to a potential audience limited to 80 million homes on weekdays. It all seems shortsighted to me.

Ennis' play was a bright spot this year. Finally ending the "he's a center" project was the one good thing Nolan did. He's a slasher moving in from the wing and has a nice knack for keeping plays alive. He's fun. Good shot. Best playing from perimeter with puck and finding lateral seams than trying to move through the middle. He was really the one creative forward. Though I think really his production is about where it will stay.

There is no need. Most Catholics (scholarly ones, anyway) are pretty comfortable talking about natural law. Here many Atheists and Catholics have much common ground. Morality is derived from the common nature of being a human being. Whether it is derived from Divine Providence or the empirical state of just being human hardly matters. It is objective and follows from rational principles. Religion (or discipleship) is a different matter. Morality applies to all (and many atheists, agnostics, and pagans are or have been extremely moral people who wouldn't think of lying, killing, cheating, or stealing, for example). The rules of religion, however, apply to the disciple.

Boston! I think he just gave Shanny the middle finger.

Josh Gorges is much better than what we saw last season. Basically this: The way he had to play for Ted Nolan probably just shortened his career by three years. He was tethered on a team that had no transition system and no plan to clear the zone. He blocked 148 shots, and had 75 hits in only 45 games. He was asked to pay a physical price for a lost season and was pretty much beat up after the first 15 games. I was embarrassed to watch how he came to play and was used night after night. He's solid. But it was almost abusive how he got used up in Nolan's mindless scheme.

It's a killer. Dumb short sighted marketing.

I'm wondering how many male teachers get caught vs. the attractive female teachers. I have a feeling, the attractive female teachers victims are telling their buddies.

UPDATE: Buyout — Roster review: #19 Cody Hodgson

I don't think it was that he was out of shape as much as he was differently shaped. Nolan wanted him at Wing...and to free him from D obligations....so add muscle....which adds weight... which often means slower. Hodgson couldn't afford to be slower. Whatever that plan was, it wasn't a good one. -
We will sort this out at Arnold's.

I feel for any fan that loses their team. Even in Buffalo - a good hockey market - the future of the Sabres was not always a given. I've met very passionate and knowledgeable fans from non-traditional markets: Florida, Tampa, San Jose, Raleigh, Dallas. I think it would just suck if they lost their connection to the NHL, like Minnesota, Winnipeg, Quebec, Hartford, once did. (I've never really forgiven the NBA for the Braves, BTW).

Fonzie is still cool though, right?
-
I agree. I think things level off after Provorov and Werenski are picked. Dallas could trade down and still land a very good D man.

Mexico City. (hey it could work)

UPDATE: Buyout — Roster review: #19 Cody Hodgson

It really is destiny that they will become roomies in an NHL themed reality show. A fair point. But I really think he might be the ideal player to manage a heavy game if given that cast of players. Like a Bergeron perhaps. -

I think Samson has a lot of battle in him. He was physically overmatched last year, but in time.... -

I think we can believe Murray when he says he wants a young, heavy and fast team. Cody is missing two of the three and young doesn't last. I don't think GMTM thinks too long about Grigo if he has a deal. -
Was there an audio bit?
