Yep. I think he already did. A few weeks back GMTM said that would be the conversation with Eich at the combine. And I think they had that conversation. When Eich was asked why other teams were interviewing him, he answered that other teams told him he might be a free agent someday. _______________________________________________________________________________________________________________ One thing I think GMTM did a nice job of doing was keeping the focus on Eichel, he really didn't answer any questions about who else they interviewed or why. GMTM's draft board is still pretty much a mystery to me. The radio wants to talk about Eichel. GMTM probably thinks, great, I'll talk about him as long as you want. Anyone know who else the Sabres interviewed?

Just to ask him one question. You coming here or staying in College, Eich? A lot of moves depend on that answer.

Connor McDavid just might be the most scouted player in NHL history. Scouts probably know the color of his poop in the afternoon. Why waste the interview time? He's a known quantity. Buffalo is already focused on their 2nd and third picks. If McDavid is on the board at two, he's a Sabre. It's that simple. Eichel at least you needed to know his college plans. McDavidd isn't going back to junior.

I see them as very different players. Kessler is a great two way player, I see Kane as primarily an offensive zone threat. I think he could be a 25 g 20 assist guy in the coming year with better numbers in years to come.

From all accounts, once Kane gets on the ice he is all business. He came from a family of boxers. We'll have a season to see what we see from him. But he's a guy on the ice that nobody is in a hurry to well......dance with.

I think one of the reasons Murray kept Pysyk in Rochester was that Nolan canned Teppo as an assistant coach. Pysyk wasn't going to find the game GMTM wanted him to play under Nolan, especially transitioning through the neutral zone. Ironically, Nolan really seemed to like Pysyk despite whatever it was Nolan was asking players to do.

interesting thoughts. I really do think he'll play top 4 minutes much of the season simply because he can. What he does really well is he skates with the puck. He can move out of tight spaces quickly. I really think he'll be getting 22 min. He'll take a ton of pressure off of his defensive partners. If your his partner and you can just get it to Pysyk's stick, he'll clear the zone.
