http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Avc6h3SsClo Just dumb for Lupul. He earned a Shannyban for sure.

that's a good idea........or howzabout a frozen rainbow trout for a puck. That would be something. I'd watch that.
-
They should only use the gimmick to see if the home crowd gets free burritos. or use my free idea.... 10 min. overtime, sudden death, no goaltender, half-sized nets.
-
So are the donuts.
-
Okay...that got me.

There are roughly 5000 min. in an 82 game season. Are you comparing 4000 min guys to 2500 min guys? I bet Miller leads the league in saves and minutes over that span. He's not an easy replacement. Consider addressing it....I'm curious to know what your thoughts are. Replacing a tremendous work load year to year. The time is coming soon. It needs to be addressed. I think it's harder to do than you think.
-
My god. Have you looked at this team? Goaltending isn't the problem. That's why Miller gets a pass. It's not him.

Goalies are not Quarterbacks. Quarterbacks are leaders. Goalies are by definition extra-terrestrials from Zork whose purpose is to stop Vulcan rubber. I'm not convinced there is any goaltender that believes in the concept of a bus. Enroth, btw does look pretty relaxed. I have no evidence that he is aware what country he is in at any moment. This is no slight on Enroth. He's a goalie. Analyzing off-ice goalie behaviour is not something skaters try to do. It is not clear that goalies even believe in buses.

Miller has been pretty good. Jan and Feb...I'd even say he was really good. The last few games have been the exception in terms of softies. Miller is bankable, and resilient IMO. He's always been able to adjust to flaws in his game over time. Consistency over time is pretty rare with goalies. In terms of grooming....he was pretty much platooning with Biron when he earned his chops. That was a pretty nice tandem to have. I'm not against Enroth getting more starts BTW.

I'll presume you want a serious answer: There is a lot to like about Enroth, and a lot to be worried about. For one, he's quick and has good vision. He can challenge shooters when he's at the top of his crease and has an ability to come up with the puck through traffic. Because he's tiny...some of the saves he makes coming back are going to look more spectacular than your average goalie, simply because he has more distance to travel to make it there. Because he's good at the top of the crease, I expect he'll be a good goaltender to have should games go to a shootout where he can challenge shooters. Things that really worry me about Enroth is this. He's a poor puck handler. Just my everyday opinion, but I think his puck-handling is really bad. This forces two things to happen...it forces your D to come back more often, and heavier fore-checking teams are going to start dumping to him to make him play it. The other thing that happens it makes him rely on his glove...this isn't necessarily bad in itself, but this team has already given up about 5 game-winning goals on lost face-offs in the defensive zone. Adding 5-10 more per game may not be desire-able. Last year Enroth was stabbing down tons of pucks that were nowhere near the net. The other thing to that worries me (and this is just my opinion)...because he needs to be on top of the crease to be effective, i'm much less confident about his abilities to handle the game down low. Simply, he can't cover much of the net when he's deep in his crease. The NHL is a wicked ecosystem for goalies. For example take Reimer in Toronto, he looked all world last year until shooters figured out that if you could get him to move in one direction at the top of his crease he couldn't cover the opposite side. Play Enroth enough...he'll get solved too. In some respects this is a worse situation for Enroth, because he can't just rely on positioning when things aren't working. He has his reflexes, not size. Anyway, the guy deserves to be in the NHL. But I'd be scared to death if he was the "plan" ....or your #1 going forward. He still has a lot to prove IMO. 2 wins are great, but it's a small sample.

The Habs missed a ton of open shots. they can't be happy with that performance. -
I'm behind the times in that regard.

Ouch...that was Ennis' man. -
In fairness...that's never been Mike Harrington's M.O...............................he asks pretty fair questions, even bad questions don't require a response. I think he honestly asked Miller what he thought he heard from Kaleta. Harrington is pretty balanced on the whole. He's not trying to embarrass these guys.

Habs have missed the net on about 4 scoring chances. That makes things easier. -

I always think it's a home game at the Aud. -
I think that they deal one of the big two and groom Lack...that's the most likely.
-
I didn't mean to suggest that they did.
-
Yep. ......we went into this season gambling on an 18 year old at center and a year of his contract just got burned in exchange for about 215 minutes of ice time . It really is mind blowing. Darcy started the season with 1 barely proven center, 2 experiments in the middle, no checking line, and 10 defenders. Terry and Ted, can you hire Duds already?
-
It's a trap to get Teddy back in the building, isn't it?
-
I'd be talking to Vancouver....Eddie Lack would be a nice prospect to get into the organization. He might be expensive, but what the hell. .....its fire sale time.
-
Nicely done, sir!
-
It's time for Darcy to give the gobstopper back.
