He's been okay....that goal by Stamkos was an unreal one-timer. That's a goal on just about anybody I think . "keep the shifts shorter boys, nobody deserves to be out there more than 20 seconds at a time" -

He certainly drawing the calls. :D -
Something just noticed.....Chris Mueller from W. Seneca is the guy filling in for Gaustad in Nashville. 5 gp 2 g 1 a 34-18 on faceoffs.

Held possession, but still not taking the blue line with any speed. -
That's like a Show in the $500 claiming race.

Who was more trapped? You or the kid? Sounds like the parents dumped a kid with antisocial personality disorder into a system, any system that would take him off their hands. I don't suspect he'll be dealing with his parents any more in China than he did during his time in the United States. -
Toffoli reminds me of Brett Hull a little. (in the sense that they are both ugly skaters and right handed shots and look like they have compact frames).

I hope they win.....raise the value of their assets somewhat....and move them. Losing is just not good. Better to trade when you have salable assets, than try to trade up from abject poverty. -
There are a few plausible scenarios. It must have become pretty obvious that Stevie discovered this board during due diligence and learned how Lindy maimed Luke Adams leaving the young man permanently disfigured and on disability. :P

He's a good shootout specialist. Getting kind of late for that kind of help though.

My goodness. What a nightmare......it sounds like his parents have successfully raised a psychopath. What I find unbelievable is the lack of support from the agency. Wow. -
Because faceoffs are a zero sum game ....everyone tries to be good at them. Imagine a ridiculous scenario of a team that sends nobody to the dot and loses 100% of them. That would sacrifice a crippling amount of possession. the 1983 oilers couldn't win a single game losing 100% of them. So being proficient at them matters in at least some way. Ever play Black Jack? Casinos manage to make money most nights with a less than 1% house advantage. If you are winning 53% of draws in the offensive or defensive zone (ceteris parabis), that is a huge advantage over the course of a season. If you are winning 1 face-off during a 45 second shift - there is a good chance that you can win the shift. Even McCormick-Ellis-Kotalik against 11-7-14 would stand a decent chance of winning a 45 second shift if they win the draw. That's hockey. Face-offs matter. Imagine sending nobody into the faceoff circle. He's that MadMen guy, right?
